So, I was looking at my Box Score page, and Ben Roethlisberger had 24 points...then he did something (I don't know, I wasn't watching the game), and he got 7 more points, making him have 31 points. I figured it'd be a touchdown pass for 6 points, and he got some yardage for that 1 point. Then, I refreshed the page, and he's back down to 24...what gives?

Not sure on that one.

I am sure that I have pulled out a horrible week. What was I thinking starting Campbell instead of Cutler? Barrian was looking to have a big week and it is Rice who does. I'm already 45 points under what my projected total was a the start of the day. So much for that 2-game lead.:mad:

Any true Redskins fan would've told you that Campbell sucks. He got benched after the second quarter, and with him, Clinton Portis. But then, Portis got back in the game, and got me like 11 points, so, it's all good. :D.

I'm thinking I've won this week, but anything can happen tomorrow night. Me and Miller High Life are very close. On Friday Night, it was projected that we were going to be a tie, but that changed, with his favor. Now, it looks like I'm going to win.

I'm just mad that I was in a hurry Saturday night and started the Seahawk's defense instead of Pats. I just looked at the projections, and saw that Seahawk's were higher. Little did I know that the Pats were going against the Titans.

I was so  when the TV station here switched from the Pats vs. Titans game over to the Jest vs. Bills at halftime. It was so much fun watching the first snow game of the year. Just because a game is no longer competitive doesn't mean that people aren't still interested. I was rather enjoying watching Wes Welker get all those points for my team. Oh well, it was a good Sunday for me, looks like I'm going to take over the division lead from the once mighty and undefeated rhett7660. :D Tonight's game should be good as well. We'll see what happens, but I think I'm pulling for the Chargers.

Wow, so more points missing?

Last night, (after the game..round like 10:30 PM) Ben Roethlisberger finished with 31 points. I sign on right now, and he has 29.:mad:. This week, it looks like I might actually need those two points to win if the Kicker of Miller High Life does good.

Fireshot91, go to the stat view inside the scoreboard and compare those game stats with another site like NFL.com. Official stats are not complete until tomorrow with the Monday night game being considered the end of the Fantasy week. If the stats don't match up correctly by tomorrow then let me know and I'll take a closer look at it to make a League Manager ruling. I'd be very surprised if ESPN doesn't get it right though.

This is common. The official numbers for each player comes in overnight and fantasy stats are always a little off. I think if you do the math you'll find Big Ben's point total exactly where it should be.

That being said, with my K scored the way he did tonight, it looks like i edged you out by 1 point. So we'll see if overnight stat corrections come back to bite me.

I double checked Ben R's stats fireshot91 and unfortunately for you they are correct.

417 passing yards = 20 points
11 rushing yards = 1 point
two touchdowns = 12 points
1 int = -2 points
1 lost fumble = -2 points

20 + 1 + 12 - 2 - 2 = 29

Sorry.... it stinks to lose games that are that close. Congrats Barr08 (miller high life) on grinding it out.

Week 6 Results

Wow, we're really already six weeks into the season.

It was a huge week for scoring points across the board with 9 of our 12 teams posting 100 or more. This weeks winners are mscriv (go me!), maflynn, imaketouchtheme, team gauchoholics, jecapaga, and miller high life (barr08). The weekly high score was 175 posted by yours truly. Jecapaga got his first win this week and thus we have no undefeated and no winless teams in our league. At this point the league seems to be holding true to the "any given sunday" mantra with the best teams in the league at 4-2 and the worst team in the league being only 3 games back. It's truly anybody's game at this point. Remember you play each team in your division twice and every other team in the league once. So, if your behind in your division then you've got plenty of time to mount a comeback.

I really hope you guys are having as much fun as I am. We've got a good league going with active team owners which always makes it enjoyable. :)

I agree. Most of the leagues I join that I haven't been doing for years often fall apart. I hate it when people neglect their team. But we have mostly active managers which is great.

1 point victory margin this week in the battle for first place of our division. This kind of thing is what makes FF so fantastic.

I actually blame myself for not putting the Pats in for Defense instead of the Seahawks. What was I thinking?!!!

That's a question that will haunt you the rest of the season my friend. Unfortunately, this year the Titans are right there with the Rams, Lions, Browns, Bucs, and Raiders as teams you should always play your defense against. Sometimes it's even worth picking up a defense just for the weekly matchup if your regular defense is going against a tough team.

Losing by one point when you have someone that exploded on your bench totally stinks. Last week I lost by one point in another league with Michael Turner, Braylon Edwards, and Heath Miller on my bench. That's 60 points for those of you keeping track at home. :( What made it totally unbearable is it's a league of old fraternity brothers and I was playing my "big brother" who still hasn't stopped hounding me.

This is a tough week for me as a Cowboys fan. I'm playing against rhett this week, who has practically the entire Cowboys offense on his team (Romo, Barber, Austin) and I have the Falcons D. Terrible quandry for me. I guess I need a 3-0 'Boys win with lots of turnovers.

Someone please propose a trade to me for Brett Favre for a WR. (That last sentence was mechanically terrible, I apologize). I desperately need a decent WR and I have some good players on my bench to trade.

Come on people!

After my games tonight I'll make an offer. Just don't want to do it now as I don't know how it will effect my guys that still have to play today. ***Offer Made*** Make a counter offer. These things don't work first try usually. NEGOTIATE!

*edit*
Way to go Cutler...

If I wasn't such a homer I would have started Palmer...WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!? The Bears D is horrible right now.

Hey, "Berlin Pretzels" (I have no idea what your username on here is, and I can't figure out how to message somebody on ESPN), after this week is over (Tuesday morning I guess?), how about a trade: Matt Forte for Seahawks D/ST, and Randy McMichael (TE)?

Gonna say no right now. I have 3 solid TE and probably going down to two pretty soon.

To MHL:.

I have my fingers crossed for overnight scoring changes. If I had only started Palmer:mad:
