Dallas Mscriv (7-3) 96 vs. Team maflynn (4-6) 99

Team thegoldenmackid (4-6) 150 vs. Team rhett7660 (6-4) 98

Pittsburgh imaketouchtheme (4-6) vs. Team Gauchoholics (6-4) 157

Team wvuwhat (5-5) 73 vs. Berlin Pretzels (7-3) 148

Team jecapaga (1-9) 86 vs. Team fireshot91 (5-5) 109

miller high life (7-3) 130 vs. Team jessica (4-6) 47

This week's high score was 157 posted by Team Gauchoholics whose power combo of Brady and Moss combined for 72 points. The highest individual scoring player of the week was Chris Johnson (thegoldenmackid) who ran all over the Buffalo Bills racking up 44 fantasy points in the process. With 4 weeks left in the season the three Division leaders are tied at 7-3 with four other teams within two games. It's truly wide open at this point.

Don't forget that the trade deadline is November 25, so there's only one week left to make any final moves.

Yikes, NE plays NO that week, and the Saints have a very good pass defense. My other players will likely need to step it up!

Conversely, the game will be a shootout, and Brady will have to look to Moss deep more often than usual. I would be pumped about this matchup (NE/NO)

Have one for jecapaga. Either accept or push it through...please? I feel it is fair for both as I am giving up extras to fit their needs and they are giving up extra to fill my need.

DO NOT SAY THAT!!!

As long as Matt Schaub doesn't go off tonight I should be able to hold on for the win. He's capable of doing it though. Oh the drama!

Ohh. Overnight changes FTL.

Last night, after the Jets/Pats game, I logged on, and me vs Maflynn, everybody was done playing. I had 117, he had 112. Now, I see this morning, that he has 118, and I have 117.

I could be off here, but my observation has been that defensive stats tend to not always show up until later. It seems that things like safeties, sacks, and defensive TD's aren't always counted in the system immediately. For example, yesterday the Jets D blocked a punt and ran it in for a defensive score. Well, the live stat tracker showed the kick block and awarded two points for that, but even late into the night there was no 6 points accounting for the defensive score. That's just weird that two stats on the same play would not show up simultaneously. Sorry fireshot, if I recall you fell prey to this same thing earlier in the season as well.

Berlin Pretzels (8-3) 130 vs. Team thegoldenmackid (4-7) 126

miller high life (8-3) 124 vs. Team Gauchoholics (6-5) 88
Team jecapaga (1-10) 72 vs. Pittsburgh imaketouchtheme (5-6) 114
Team maflynn (5-6) 118 vs. Team fireshot91 (5-6) 117

This week's high score was 136 posted by mscriv (Go Me!) thanks to Wes Welker going off with 15 catches on the day. I love being in a PPR league. :D The highest individual scoring player of the week was Matthew Stafford (sitting on the waiver wire) who passed for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns in a barn burner against the Browns. He ended up with 47 fantasy points for the game. The three Division leaders each won this week and remain tied at 8-3 with three weeks to go before the playoffs start. It's a tight race for those two coveted first round playoff byes. Overall, there are still 9 teams out of 12 battling for playoff spots. I think this speaks well of our league, both in terms of competitiveness and active management. Thanks for making this so much fun everyone. :)

The trade deadline is tomorrow, November 25, so if you want to make an offer to someone than get on it ASAP. Please remember that I can not push trades through on my own. A trade must be accepted by both parties before I am even made aware of it in the system. In fact when a trade is accepted I believe an email goes out to everyone in the league.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and don't forget there are 3 games on Thursday so get your line up set before you carve the turkey.

All I can say is WOW

I was projected at 150+ and I am not going to break 90. I just have to cross my fingers Brady/Moss combine for less than 20 points. :(

If Brady and Moss combine for less than 20 points than that means the something went very wrong in the Patriots game plan. Funny how fantasy changes your outlook on things. I never actually rooted for a player to get injured until I started playing fantasy football. :D

Or against YOUR team.

What gets really frustrating is when you play in multiple leagues. Often you end up caught between a rock and a hard place because you need a specific player on your team to do well for you in one league, but that same player is going against you in another league. It's enough to drive you mad. :p

Well, I feel honored then that you selected our little ole' MR league to be your only one this year. Your team has done quite well and it's been so much fun getting to know other forum members a little better through this.

I'm running 4 leagues this year. I didn't intend to do that, but it just kind of happened. It hasn't been too bad and I'm actually doing quite well in three of them. With some luck over the next couple of weeks I'll actually make the playoffs in all four. :)

First time I've been in a league with a present LM too.

25ish minutes left...fingers and toes and legs and arms and eyes are crossed the Saints D can keep it up.

Looks like having all bases crossed worked out in my favor. 15 points between Brady and Moss in the end when they were projected at 50+.

And I thought my guys underperformed! They were just playing down to the competition!

Dallas mscriv (9-3) 158 vs. Team thegoldenmackid (4-8) 106

Team maflynn (5-7) 94 vs. Team rhett7660 (8-4) 117

Team Gauchoholics (6-6) 67 vs. Berlin Pretzels (9-3) 89

Pittsburgh imaketouchtheme (5-7) 100 vs. Team wvuwhat (6-6) 104

Team fireshot91 (5-7) 97 vs. Team jessica (5-7) 137

Team jecapaga (1-11) 63 vs. miller high life (9-3) 107

As you can see above this weeks high score of 158 was posted by mscriv (two weeks in a row) thanks to big performances by several players over the holiday. The stud individual player of the week was Drew Brees who posted 48 fantasy points with over 370 yards and 5 TD's in a royal thumping of the Patriots last night.

We've got two weeks of regulation play left before the playoffs start and it's as close as ever with the three division leaders still tied and the wild card leaders holding on to their spots with only a one game lead. This is truly the most balanced league in which I've ever played. It's crazy to think how much closer things could have been if jecapaga and jessica would have remained active throughout season.

The trade deadline has come and gone so the waiver wire is now your only source for player moves.

I hope everyone here in the states had a good holiday and enjoyed watching the games as much as I did while recovering from my numerous helpings of thanksgiving treats. :)

Anyone else notice how completely and utterly and any other word BAD my players (at least starters) did this week. Projected at 160+ and might break 80.

And I haven't voted yet. Muu Huu Hah Hah Hah... I have all the power! :D

Maybe we should let you decide the tiebreaks for games, too. Have I mentioned how stellar your grammar and spelling are on this forum? Like a young Hemingway, but much more attractive, and slightly less of an alcoholic.

Thank you so much kind sir. I do my best. Even in texts messages I strive to be a proper grammarian. As for the comparison to Hemingway, well, flattery can get you anywhere. ;) I'll be sure to give you credit when I write my first book and publish online. Let's see now, "Old Man and the Online Forum", no how about "For Whom the PRSI Tolls". Hmm, I'll keep brainstorming. :)

As far as being the sole judge for tiebreaks. I'll pass on that job as it would be thankless and possibly detrimental to my health.

Dallas mscriv (9-4) 106 vs. Team fireshot91 (6-7) 134

Team Gauchoholics (7-6) 115 vs. Team maflynn (5-8) 97

Team rhett7660 (9-4) 125 vs. Team wvuwhat (6-7) 88

Team thegoldenmackid (5-8) 105 vs. Team jecapaga (1-12) 27

Berlin Pretzels (9-4) 69 vs. Team jessica (6-7) 106

Pittsburgh imaketouchtheme (6-7) 135 vs. miller high life (9-4) 129

The high score of the week was put up by Pittsburgh imaketouchtheme who racked up 135 points with 6 of his 9 starters scoring 15 or more and Phillip Rivers alone putting up 30. The highest scoring individual player of the week was Tony Romo (Rhett7660) who earned 37 points on 353 yards and 3 TD's against the Giants.

What a tough league we have. All three division winners lost and now there's 4 teams with a league leading record of 9-4. Going into the last game before the playoffs the Mac Division is up for grabs with Rhett7660 and Mscriv in a tie. Miller High Life has secured the iPhone Division and Berlin Pretzels has locked up the OSX Division. One of the three wildcard spots is locked up with either Rhett7660 or Mscriv taking it. The remaining two playoff invitations are a heated battle between seven teams who still have a chance! How exciting, for some it's like the playoffs start next week in the final game of the season.

I know I've said this a lot, but thanks to everyone for staying active and making this by far the most competitive and most fun league of which I ever been a part. :)

This is getting good!!!!!!

I agree,, I am in one other this year and this by far is the better of the two!!!!

This is getting good!!!!!!

It's going to get even better when I beat you this week to take the division championship crown and secure a first round bye in the playoffs. I can't believe we get the chance to settle the tie with a head to head contest. It's been an honor doing division battle with you all season rhett7660, but I'm afaid we've come to the point where I end this little rivalry with a serious but whoopin'. :D

Any idea how MHL has the #2 seed over me (Pretzels)? I won our head-head with the tiebreaker and we are both leading our division. Is it total points? Home/Away Win/Loss (I only had 7 home games, he had 10)? Division Win/Loss?

I ask this now, but it may not make a difference after this week, but that 1st round bye sure looks nice.
