so you don't have another nano? at least the newer ones are cheaper than they used to be. but i've read about some problems with nike+ and the new nanos.
i thought my team only has 3 more runners than yours? what can i say, people like me
No, i don't have another nano. Got a shuffle, but that's not gonna help.
I was looking on apple's website, and some 2G refurb nanos are really cheap. So I might do that. But it's not *necessary* as of yet (see below).
I guess people don't like me as much... it's probably because I intimidate them with my speed, fitness, intelligence, popularity, attractiveness, and good-person-ness. And my modesty. Mostly that.
I'm actually doing ok for now. I've taken to charging the battery every day, and that is currently allowing me to get through runs. We'll see what happens when I try it on a long (2 hr.) run though.
And not to get off topic... but there isn't/won't be an asterisk on the Pats' season, regardless of what a certain bitter old man would have you believe.
I suppose all we can do is get twoods a few more members to even it up

as much as i want to win this challenge, that just won't happen this time. maybe next June we can go for it again though

I've had my nike+ for a year next month, and I still love it! Just passed the 1000km mark, and ran the Auckland Marathon (42Km) on october 28th, I definitely couldn't have done it without my iPod. Its such a great way to motivate geeks to go running!

Seen it and added it - hopefuly he helps even up the teams...it is nice how even with the mismatches it is a tight race.
Rationalize it any way you want to...
A 4 person advantage is a 4 person advantage - if you look at the spread - sure right now the top 3 are on one team, but the advantage comes with the ability for any or all of the 4 extra's pumping in some mileage - look at yourself...if you were running normal would it still be fair? No you guys would be leading by 20 or 30 miles...so it may seem fair now, but in reality if all things were normal the 4 man advantage would show with you running your normal miles...

You are correct the fact that it is a close race makes it interesting...but the QC's can always whine if they lose...

but considering you have the top 3, i don't see how the 4 extra people are a big deal. 1 of those have 0 miles right now.
Didn't get out over the weekend but did a couple of miles tonight at the gym.
For what it's worth, I joined twoodcc's team since he's been around for lots of recent challenges, has been encouraging to newer runners and has been v active in promoting the Nike+ threads.
