I'm pretty sure anyone can participate.
I'm not DollFaceDork, but that seems valid to me.
I will let you be an honorary DollFaceDork if that helps.
Intell- Of course you can play

Challenge: A picture of a jack-o-lantern or pumpkin with a face next to a PowerPC based Mac. The CPU architecture of the Mac must be readily discernible. The picture must also include the standard MR Scavenger Hunt sign, with user name and date. Deadline is September 27, 2011 at 9:30 EST.
MacRumors Scavenge Hunt score: 1
Ouch, a pumpkin and a PowerPC Mac.![]()
It helps that I use that 12" PowerBook as a file server now. Lucky meWell hush my mouth !
Hey Peace, don't you think that the iPod Shuffle is even more rare?![]()
Ya. Says the one who probably has one.![]()
At least I made a challenge in which I don't even own the object so there is no way I can win that point.Hahaha. I have a "clippy" shuffle in my closet, but nooo, it has to be the original white one.
I think this thread is headed toward more and more difficult challenges. Pretty soon we're going to need Rolex watches next to Obama who's holding the appropriate sign.I'm staying optimistic though.

Oh I am. Not really playing for points. Then you should be ready to dock down your point.![]()
I believe that when the OP posts his challenge and no one completes it, but he does, he just doesn't get docked a point.(R)renewed, there are a few things that concern me.
Firstly, when the challenger is not able to complete the challenge, he then loses a point, but then what stops the challenger from making another difficult challenge? Basically, why does the challenger get to start another challenger after failing once? This raises a question. Who should be the one to start another challenge after a failed challenge?
Secondly, are there any regulations against choosing something that only the challenger and a few others would have in their possession? The challenger could potentially keep giving him or herself the point after waiting 3 days.
[I am aware there are a few general rules, but what is there to stop someone from sandbagging the competition or getting too specific in their challenge?]
Thirdly, (I forgot what my third concern was.) sorry.
Thanks.
Oh and also, should there be a mercy rule?

Agreed. That makes the most sense.... Who should be the one to start another challenge after a failed challenge?
I think it should be the person who was last. They get a point reduction so it is a "punishment" for not being able to do it themselves.

Honestly, I figured someone here would have a 1st gen shuffle and this would've moved on by now. Sorry for the wait guys!
