Time Capsul sounds great and all...but why am I not that excited?

Because its an evolutionary product, not a revolutionary one.

I think its great -- but I won't upgrade my Airport until I have to. But this makes a lot of sense to me.

Now we know why Apple pulled this feature out of Leopard for launch - they wanted to release Time Capsule and make MORE money out of us.

Not impressed with Time Capsule. I'm happy with the plugging and unplugging for $300

If Time Capsule can be used as a NAS, that would boost it's value. You could store content on it and stream it to Macs, AppleTVs, iPhones and iPod Touches.

Time capsule better be backwards compatible with older airport extremes. Just bought the gigabit and have a 750 external.
