$20 upgrade? How is that fair at all when people can go out and buy a new one for the SAME price we paid? Wtf apple? sigh... I guess I'll keep mine hacked on 1.1 you silly fools

laaaame. I don't even have a touch and I'm pissed about the charge. Why would they do that? I guess they see the apps almost like they would games?

touchstone, miramax, lions gate, paramount, universal, song, walt disnety, fox, WB and more are all involved

Not every year can be as good as last year's iPhone intro.

This year's intros look like useful additions to the product line -- but otherwise a great big yawn. The thin notebook better blow everyone away, otherwise there are going to be a lot of disappointed people.

But you know, that is the way it actually is most years: lots of build up followed by some useful intros that really don't get appreciated until later.

Movie rentals, for instance, might end up being a big thing -- but right now I could care less.

I think it might have to do with their financial reporting, again. Remember when they charged for an Airport upgrade for Macbook users?

The iPhone and Apple TV are reported differently than iPods. I think that, since the iPod touch is reported as income in the same quarter they are purchased....hmmm I really have no idea

they will be getting them 30 days after the DVD release

you can watch them anywhere and instantly on a broadband connection

Dammit, i'm guessing since Steve has four things to talk about and three have been mentioned, then we won't be seeing a MBP update :(

after you rent it, you have 30 days to start watching the film, and 24 hours to finish it

New releases will cost $3.99
