Magazine Apps Appearing In Newsstand for iOS 5 Beta Users

So, question. For those of us who don't have an iPad, will these Magazine apps (that seem to be mostly iPad apps) work with Newsstand on only iPhones? I have two iPhone 4Ss coming and my old 3GS. I've downloaded the apps in iTunes, and some (like Wired) say they support Newsstand, but they seem like iPad exclusive apps.

newsstand is enabled on my phone but there are very few magazines (expected). but every one i download doesn't go into the newsstand folder. it just downloads like a normal app? am i doing something wrong?

samething here... and dragging the app"azine" to the newstand app/folder doesn't work either

Just installed the "Car and Driver" update ...

First I looked in my usual folder where I stored the app and it disappeared there, instead it shows now up in the newsstand. Once you open newsstand and click on it basically opens the old app.

So it looks like newsstand is some 'special' folder where those apps are stored and (big advantage) allows background download, but otherwise it is the same old app in a special folder.

There are only 7 items available in the UK and the only newspaper is the New York Times.

What a load of crap.

Just released, give it some time...

I hope Nintendo Power gets in, or perhaps PlayStation Magazine.
