Has anyone checked Portland ME or Salem NH?

Salem NH reports none as of about 4pm today. No ETA.

Salem NH now has plenty in stock, right near the Mighty Mouses.

I just started using it and I'm impressed with the scrolling and while the mouse could be a -tad- higher and wider, it's certainly not the ergonomic mess I thought it would be. Feels fairly natural. The issue I have is the tracking seems to not be as smooth as my wireless Mighty Mouse.

Then again, I'm just getting used to this thing...

I just picked one up at the La Cantera store in San Antonio, TX! They had them right next to the mighty mouse, I'd say about twenty or so.

Just picked mine up at the Apple Store at Easton in Columbus, Ohio.
So far I like it. No more scroller ball issues with the mighty mouse!

In stock at the Briarwood Apple Store in Ann Arbor as of the evening of Oct 29.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that momentum scrolling is not available unless you are running Snow Leopard? I first installed and paired the mouse on my Mac Pro which is still running 10.5.8, and the option of selecting momentum scrolling is not present. This is not the case on my MBP which is running 10.6.1.

Just got back from the Trafford Centre, they didn't have any on display, but I asked about them and they went and got one from "upstairs". Very happy with it. Got it for £48.95 because of student discount.

Maine Mall store has them.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this peripheral. Functionally, it's a step backwards, even with the multi-touch capabilities. I don't find it that comfortable, either.

Several years ago I swapped to a Logitech M500 from the Mighty Mouse. The simple button configuration let's me accomplish far more, without even needing to lift my fingers from the mouse. I think it's more ergonomic too. 7 buttons, plus horizontal scroll. I have the side buttons set to back/forward, the scroll tilt buttons set to Expose and Show Desktop, and the scroll push button set to Dashboard. I'm sticking with it. :)

Was at the San Francisco flagship store, and they don't have any there.

I'm a bit surprised too.

I just came back from the Apple store on Market St with a Magic Mouse early this afternoon. It's on display behind the cash register.

i love logitech mice but i had one with the hyperscroll wheel and hated not having a middle mouse button anymore since clicking on the scroll wheel would just change the scroll settings. i'm not a fan of mice with tons of buttons. i just need left/right/middle with scrolling ability.

That's because a bunch of us showed up when they opened and bought them. I was the first guy to buy one from the SFO store at 10:01 am. Early bird, dudes.

Now if I could figure out how to make it scroll in Safari...

Picked one up form the Trafford Centre today. Lovin' it! The multi touch is great especially how you can just pretty much flick and it takes you to the top or bottom of a long web page.

Just received my Mouse today and I walked passed the Apple Store today and seen if they had them in and they did, without any wires or sensors attached. It was crazy!

Yep. they sold out last night around 8PM. Searching Twitter is a great way to see if they have them or not.

"sf apple store"
"sf magic mouse"
"apple san francisco mouse"

People are tweeting if they have them in stock or not. I'm looking to get one and a wireless keyboard today.
