Awesome! The selectable ringtones are going to be awesome since now it has the same sound as when I receive a text message. Keep em coming!
 
Im having a problem my Mail notifier is stuck on 7 badges, I don't have any new email I've tried taking off both my mail accounts putting them back on even doing it with deleting the app it self any ideas what could be wrong?
 
does this app actually push the new email to your inbox or just shows you the badge telling you there is a new email and you then have to launch mail app to fetch it?

It pushes the you a message from the app it even shows a preview of the message and then go to the mail app open the account and get the mail the nice thing is this saves on battery life cause with this app you dont need to have fetch or push mail on the whole time. its worth the price.

Yes, this will let you get push notifications for any IMAP/POP account. There is no limit how many accounts you can add.

We expect 2.0 to be available within 2-3 weeks if everything goes smoothly.
 
Hey derek, thanks for the Beta.

I just finished installing and settings all my accounts, Notification sound and all the new features are great. So far I have found the following:

1-) I set the Silence Mode from 10:00PM-6:00Am, but then while trying all the new features, I never got a notification sound, I double checked time settings and everything seems fine but then I disabled the Silence feature and my Notification Ringtones began to sound. I tried it again and teh same, so I left it disabled for now until there is more info about it.

2-) I have set 2 different POP emails, weird thing is that they work for some time and then suddenly I receive a Notification from the APP saying that it found an error or something and that I need to revalidate the account. If I go and just validate it again, it works but then some minutes later the same occurs. What I have seen so far is that POPs are giving me this, but my Office IMAP account so far is working great.
 
More info about the POP error.

It seems that it gives the Push error message exactly 15 minutes after you save the credentials, I did a couple of more tests and it's always 15 minutes, only thing that make sense is that my POP Fetch schedule is every 15 minutes, so correct me if I'm wrong, but my theory is that as soon as my Mail app fetch for messages every 15 minutes, this error out the Push of Mail Notifier.
My next test is that i will set ,y POP account to mnual instead of Fetch and will re-enable the account and will let you know if it helps.

Just letting you know, it can give you an idea. Let us know.
 
**Edit**Sorry but I changed the wrong POP account, testing again.

Now I can confirm that it's not related to Fetch, it just gave me the same error.

So I will put everything back as it was and will wait for your reply.
 
Hi derek, are you working on a possible fix for the POP issue, or the other issue I mentioned above related to the Silence Mode?, I'm asking because if people buy the app with this features offered and begin having the errors I'm having, it will cause problems with the App feedbacks and more important to sales.

Did you get the new Beta? If you didn't, sorry I forgot to send it to you. Email me and I'll send you the new Beta. The problems should be fixed in that version.

I received the new BETA and installed it. From my tests I can see that at least the Silence bug was fixed, as I set it to be silenced from 10:00PM-7:00AM and I received some notifications this morning and they were pushed with sound.

BUT, it seems that the POP accounts still some kind of a bug, I can tell you that it is not asking me to re-validate the account every 15 minutes but now the Badge count keep growing and since I've been testing it, it doesn't delete the Badge even when I have read it and delete it. I must double check my email client settings just to see if it's getting deleted from the server, but as far as I know it should.

Just letting you know some details, I can confirm later if it reset the badge count or not, thanks.

Can you check if the emails are getting deleted off the server when you read them? If it does, it should reset the badge count.

People that have an iPhone checking a POP account managed by desktop system are likely to have the "leave messages on server" option on and set to at least 1 day. This allows them to see their email on the iPhone and the desktop system.

In this case, I, as the user, would just turn off the badge display since the information will be misleading.
