Yep. If anyone has a link to a MacOS software title showing better M4 GPU hardware raytracing performance then feel free to post it.
Didn’t I just do that? Blender scores higher than 20-25% with the M4 Pro. It scores 31%.

Lol no. I took that into account. It’s a 31% per core increase.
Oh good. That’s good that M4 hardware raytracing is up to 31% faster than M3, so far.

If anyone can post a link to MacOS software that shows a greater hardware raytracing generational improvement feel free to do so.

Oh, I forgot that the memory bandwidth of the M3 Pro is only 150 GB/s (far less than the 273GB/s of the M4 Pro)

So let’s try to stick to comparing M4 Max to M3 Max to keep things similar, especially since the M3 Ultra in the new Mac Studio is (2) M3 Max chips interconnected.

They just announced an expansion for Robocop Rogue City and no mention of Mac (or the port that was supposed to come out ages ago). Guess it's cancelled ;/

Nat Brown (ex Apple) was recently interviewed on the MacGameCast. An interesting listen. I will avoid surmising but its worth checking out if you want more inside info on how Apple sees gaming.

Why would they mention a DLC for Mac when the base game isn't released yet? The delay could be due to some lacking features in UE 5 on Mac. Maybe they're waiting for an update or maybe they'll release an Ultimate Edition like Control with both the game and DLC in summer. In worst case scenario it could turn into another Grid Legend and come at the end of the year but it's highly unlikely it would get cancelled.

Maybe you are right, but their complete silence on the subject is unsettling. Also I hope they do not release it only as Ultimate Edition because they specifically said the Steam purchase of the game would work on Mac when released, which is why I bought the game a while ago on sale in anticipation of the Mac release, so I would be pretty pissed :D

Yes, but it's not the first time we've been in this situation and it won't be the last. It's the same thing with Dead Island 2 and so was with Re 4 Remake and Grid Legends.

I saw on reddit that Control has been pushed to next week. Looks like there is a PC update as well that added an Ultra RT Preset and HDR. I assume the macOS version will see these same features.

I imagine YouTube will be flooded with these type of videos in the next few weeks
Tracking some potential release dates:

Assassins Creed Shadows - March 20th
Control Ultimate Edition - March 26th
Cyberpunk 2077 - Later this year

I think that’s wrong on Cyberpunk, that game will be released very very soon. Possibly this month.

And on what source do you have that information?
CD Project Red themselves:

'More details, including a release date for early next year, will be revealed at a later time, so make sure to stay tuned!'

Also here:

And here:

All stating early 2025 release date. And with the recent changes to Cyberpunk files in Steam signs are it'll be out sooner than later.

There’s no release date or even a page yet for CP2077 on the Mac App Store.

Early 2025 has passed. We’re in 2025 now.

I just bought it on sale last week but had no idea Steam was going to add MacOS binary. That's fantastic.

Palworld is getting crossplay, even on Mac.
