I have a history of acrobatics, so I'm adept at such things.

Video 1 (5.1MB) - Handstand pushups, my upper body workout.

Video 2 (3MB) - A standing backflip. It's really poorly executed, but it was after a night of dancing so my legs were exhausted, I'm surprised I didn't kill myself :p.

I can't believe I left out one of my most impressive skills... Juggling!

3 ball tricks (3MB) - mostly just a millsmess, video would be too big to include more.

3 to 4 to 3 to 4 ball tricks (4MB) - I love juggling 3 balls and then adding in a 4th randomly. Very cool effect, and I haven't seen it done before, so it's at least semi-original. :p

edit - I know... I'm a frikin' clown... I actually would give just about anything to join Cirque Du Soleil :p.

I'm very impressed with the backflip. The 3to4.mov just gives me a Quicktime icon with a question mark, though.

I know I'm a bit late on this one (just woke up), but groovebuster... you must not understand the point of this thread...

@clayj: Like the apartment. LOVE the entertainment center. :D

Don't be, it is a very bad backflip :(. My legs were very tired at the time, it was after a night of dancing.

As for the juggling videos, I realized that I quit the FTP client while they were uploading, so there are only partial files on the server. I'll fix that when I get home.

Sorry 'bout that.

I don't know anyone who can do a backflip, and I can't do a backflip even when I'm on a trampoline, so I'm impressed nevertheless.

DUDE. AWESOME.

I want to run away and join cirque du soleil, too, but my violin skills are not enough for them. :(
(I've actually researched what it would take to be a musician with them... not a walk in the park, let me tell you!)

Well, I'd think that's obvious. I'd assume they'd want you to play a musical instrument for them and would likely be utterly uninterested in how you walk, in parks or anywhere else.

Yeah, it's too cold to walk in those parks in canada anyway...

MAN! I want to play violin for the circus.. I'd be so awesome!

maybe I'll get a cirque du soleil score and play it with some people at my senior recital.. :)

Oh yeah, everyone's invited to it, if anyone in Houston wants to come. Just PM me. :)

oh-- something to make someone jealous-- I get the opportunity to perform amazing music that most people don't see until their 30s... and I'm only 17. (WHAT? HINDEMITH!!!!! SO MUCH THE GOOD! We did Hindemith Symphonic Metamorphosis and Barber's first ON THE SAME CONCERT! Most professional groups wouldn't even attempt that... and we did it with FOUR VIOLAS! One of whom has been playing for less than 2 years... (that would be me))

Ah, sorry. Sounds like you're writing with a lisp ("theriouthly! hindemith!"). ;)

But, if you're comparing him to designers, aim higher than Ive. Otherwise I'll feel as though he writes derivative music for the masses.

i won't trash you for posting in a thread inhabited by teenagers comparing wang size when i know nothing about you as a person, but i will say, how come hanging out with ME wasn't on your list?!?!?!? MOFO

Well I am 17 and have gotten to fly 4 different airplanes and a helicopter for free. I have also gotten to travel quite a bit. Might get a chance to fly a citation in the near future.

i tried to post things that were attainable by the average MR member. it wasn't my intent to crush their hopes by taunting my reaching the apex of life experience-hanging out with you. i'm just not that cruel.

guess that's why you didn't list me either. right?

It looks huge in the handstand pushup video . It's not that big in real life. I have to stick it out to keep my balance ;).

So what exactly does a $1,000 power regulator do? Surge protector? How about the $4000 remote?

Addendum to my make-jealous list: I ski 5 a week during the winter...and I'm still in high school.
