Douchey move Apple!
Omg lol, so it's a waste of time being able to delete stock apps then...
Weird. Guess they're just small enough for me to not notice it?
That reminds me that from now on, iOS and macOS can have the same version number (though OS X 10.1 through 10.4 are mainly of academic interest now).I think this may be a feature in 10.2/10.2
If you don't have that app installed it will ask you to install something like that app
Probably because "And now, in the new iOS 10, you can remove all of those useless native Apple apps that you never open, and just take up space!" wouldn't go over too well with the Board. Glad to see this is a feature, though. Why didn't Apple talk about this? Why did they spend so much time on useless emoji?
Yes and no. It's a waste if you're wanting it to be a default app workaround but not if you have absolutely no use for the Home, Podcast, Watch, Calculator, iTunes Store, Notes, Videos app etc.
Given that I currently have 44 folders, one more hardly makes a difference. This is sweet. Now I won't have that stupid folder on my second home screen!
the apple website states all combined they r just around 100 something mb
yes and not much. total are less than 150 mb according to Apple.oh i want this so badly. is ios10 coming to the ip5?
can anyone share information on how much soace could be saved from deleting each of the mentioned apps?
I am waiting for people to want to delete the phone app.FYI release notes show that deleting FaceTime app from iPad or iPod Touch cannot be undone ATM
Yeah you're right, but still... For those apps that are commonly linked to throughout the OS Apple should allow the user to reassign an alternative app to act as default, it's not hard, jailbreak tweaks were able to accomplish this years ago!
Are deleted stock apps removed from share sheets also? For example if you delete Notes App is it also removed from the Safari share sheet etc?
Because people complained about them being there. Honestly, it's 1,000,000x better than shoving them in a folder.Wow.
What was the point of deleting them, again?
meh, i save more by deleting few minutes worth of videos, so it's more for the aesthethic fuss of not having useless icons on the front page!yes and not much. total are less than 150 mb according to Apple.
Does the Night Shift button is dynamic in any way if turned on?
If not, that's a giant button for what Night Shift does.
Because a lot more people care about emoji than care about being able to delete apps. Why didn't Apple talk about this? Why did they spend so much time on useless emoji?
