I thought I'd add my 2p worth.

I too lost Touch ID after updating to 8.3 the other day, so earlier today I looked in Settings>Touch ID & Passcode and "Use Touch ID for iTunes & App Store"was set to off.

I set it back to on, entered my Apple ID password and all everything was back to working again.

As a shareholder and what has happened to the stock recently, it's irrelevant regarding that dude. Seems like apple is better off without him.
Frankly I'm not sure exactly what to think. I've been a shareholder since 1991. Because I chose to gamble early on, buying a very large number of shares at a meager $20 each, I've been sure to attend meetings frequently as well as always following Apple very closely.

It's a bit misleading as I've read all that had been written prior to, during and afterwards. Regarding all other Apple decisions while we weren't always privy to the specifics, one could generally read between the lines and come away pretty clear about the issue at hand.

Regarding the last five years of stock performance it seems obvious to me that the buying public are far less discerning regarding iOS and in turn iPhone performance most specifically. I do agree the situation with Scott was relatively inconsequential. But that was then and this is now. I believe he's needed.

My iP6_Plus and it's replacement are way off the mark when compared to all of the prior models. A true surprise and tremendous disappointment.

Temporary glitch my arse. They screwed up yet again. Beta testers warned them about this bug before Apple released it or didn't you bother to read those posts. It's classic Apple arrogance. Customers should just put up with it because we all love Apple so much. FU Tim Cook.

What control over this do you think Tim Cook had?

How? This issue was not present in betas. And because Apple fixed it without a software update, it was an issue on their end. I did not have this issue in betas, neither did other people I know, and I haven't read all seven pages, but I have seen many people on this thread saying they did not have this in the betas. They aren't being arrogant, because they didn't know.

Thanks but I've got a simpler solution - I'm not gong to install iOS 8.3 until everything is working properly.
