No issues on my 6+.

But, last night I upgraded two Macs to 10.10.3. When I went into App Store to update apps after the upgrade on one of them, was asked to provide login for each app update. I have automatic updates enabled.

On the second Mac, no such prompts.

Wondering if this is an App Store vs. device OS issue?

8.3 broke my iP6.Plus
10.10.3 on three Macs, no problem...go figure

my iphone 5 is laughing so hard right now :D

A full 100 points for your great humor :)

Does she know for sure its a problem with her finger/software or could it be the hardware itself?

I myself use TouchID all the time and can't imagine having to enter a pin or password all the time. I can't imagine TouchID being so erratic.

To some, fingerprint is a gimmick. It's probably user error (read: her fault). But then they blame it on the device. It happens a lot with non-techies.

Another example of how Apple is losing focus. They are working on too many things at once and going after every little niche market for an extra few dollars.

Very smart move. I was stupid and knew it...ha!

After getting my iPhone 6 bricked with iOS 8.0.1 I promised myself that I would always wait at least 1 week before upgrading my iToys.

I didn't listen to my own advice and now the Touch Id on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 doesn't work in the App Store....

I honestly think we should start a petition to bring back Scott Forstall !
Since he was fired, iOS quality has gone down, BIG TIME..before it was smooth like butter:cool:

I know iMaps was his fault, but only because it was rushed.....

LETS BRING BACK SCOTT !!!! :D:apple:

C'mon Apple, seriously? FOUR betas, a PUBLIC BETA, and still this major bug slips by before the 8.3 release?

Apple hardware is still beautiful, but software wise, they're asleep at the wheel.

Touch ID not working in the App Store is not a major bug.

I hear ya, in the grand scheme of things it may not be a major bug, but it's still major enough that it should not have been allowed to pass by whoever, if anyone is checking these things.

Funny thing is it worked fine during the beta...now it doesn't work. That's a big WTF.

Earlier in the thread a MacRumors regular noted he'd seen it in the Beta and filed a bug at that point....Apple probably couldn't reproduce it and let the release go out...

This is only a very minor inconvenience. Apple will fix it soon. There's nothing else to discuss really and it doesn't point to a QA problem within Apple. This is one of the best iOS updates Apple has ever delivered.

Yeah the release is perfect, those enhanced emoji are like heaven...remember you should sell your cars and house, if needed, to get the Edition Watch. ;-)

Oh no, my TouchID IS still working perfectly after the upgrade! Damn, I wanted to send a bug report to Apple, now I can't do it.

No problem here on my iPhone 5S, just purchased last week preinstalled with something prior to 8.2 if that makes a difference. I had to upgrade it to 8.2 out of the box.

Touch ID WAS not working for App Store purchase when I tried it earlier today (iPhone 6 8.3). But with no action on my part, it IS working again.

Interesting. Instead of telling me to login, now it gives me the standard message of Touch ID requires your password when iPhone restarts. Was it an App Store issue? Sure seems like it.........

The usual Apple quality control then with the products exclusively made at Cupertino ONLY!
I installed it on my mums iPad and it's crashed already trying to delete a web page shortcut from the desktop, the icons slowly wiggling and stuttering and the whole thing locked up! Rebooted it and now you can delete a shortcut, painfully, because that is the sort of thing that taxes the processor

Apple, your once great iOS is now an utter utter utter utter utter amatuer joke! ESPECIALLY for a corporation as rich as you!

If they don't fix all these pathetic bugs in iOS9 then the entire OS will IMO be at a loss.

I guess that's why Apple uses a picture of Mickey Mouse on the face of the new Apple Watch. It has become a Mickey Mouse company.

Well, since iOS8 it DEFINITELY has!
