Maroo Cases Question and Answer Thread: (Maroo has great customer service!)

I do like the Targus Slim, don't get me wrong. It's just that the price point of the Maroo with the 50% off discount turned out to be a much better deal.
 
Nice deal, I just don't like any of those colors unfortunately. I like the design a lot though.

I actually like the Mana, but don't like green. If it was blue it'd be ordered.
 
Note to everyone who ordered: I emailed Maroo last night inquiring about when we would receive our products we ordered. They said this:

Shipping usually takes 3-5 days after we process it. We've experienced a HUGE surge in traffic, so it might takes us a few days to get caught up. After all, we are a small team here. We're trying to get everything to people as soon as possible, but I don't think Friday is realistic. When we ship it, you should receive a shipping email. We ship everything typical first class mail. No signature and they'll usually leave it on your front porch, it a mail box, etc if you're not home. Hope this helps!

I just called a little bit before you posted this and the lady said it should ship within a day or two :)

That's good to hear, hopefully it'll ship sooner rather than later. Only problem is they're on the other side of the country I think (they're in Washington state, I'm in NYC), so shipping will take longer.

I am in NJ - I ordered the Moko yesterday, it shipped yesterday, and I should have mine delivered tomorrow per USPS.

Cool, I ordered mine last night about 11pm I hope mine ships out quickly too. I'm in WA state so shouldn't take to long once its shipped. :)
 
Mine was shipped by priority not first class. It may be worth calling if your order hasn't shipped to see if they can ship yours priority to get it faster.

I find that priority is usually a day faster then 1st class.

New iPad Fit

I purchased a Mako as well and indicated for the new iPad. I know the newest model iPad is relatively the same form factor as the 2nd gen, but is anyone else wondering how they can ship these before actually testing the fit? I understand the case design, with the brackets for the corners is relatively simple but seems like they would need to tweak it a bit to allow for the thicker iPad. Perhaps the used a model based on the specs?

When I called, I made sure to ask if the shipments apply to the "newer" iPad models, and she assured me that they will fit. Remember, the new iPad is only 0.61 mm thicker, which is basically like having a sticker on your iPad. There should/will be room for this slight expansion.
 
Ordered Toki and Koe.

I don't like those leather ones because they are just black and red. It's too plain. I do like some arts.

In my view, I liked Toki and Koe. It's such a shame that Toki is on back order until April. That's nuts.
 
Just placed an order for the MOKO Black in addition to my AWANUI yesterday. I basically got 2 cases for the price of 1 Ipad smart cover over here in Canada :D

My only concern is the 4 bumpers damaging the screen protector 4 corners. Anyone using one of these cases on an Ipad 2 with a screen protector chime in on this?:confused:

Cripes! When I ordered last night - I couldn't even place a b/o for the Toki.

Ordered the Moko last night - and just placed a b/o for the Toki.

Looks like I'll have to send back the Moko I ordered from Amazon at full price (should be arriving tomorrow)!

The four bumpers don't affect the screen protector if you install the protector perfectly.

from the vietnamese unboxing, the camera looks in a very different location, which if they didn't change the case would block the camera in the new ipad
