Maroo Cases Question and Answer Thread: (Maroo has great customer service!)

I wouldn't worry too much about it - these guys got slammed - and I doubt they have the fulfillment department of someone like Amazon.com...
That being said, my Maroo case from Amazon is sitting at the condo now - lol - just my luck - to place an order with them the day before the big "birthday bash"
Got mine today as well. Mine did not have the sticker you mentioned, but I'm told it is just a packaging mixup. Should be good to go...
I have to say the quality seems pretty awesome for a case at $22.50!
I called them and they said there is no difference between iPad2 cases and "New iPad" cases. The only reason they are asking you to tick the box when you place your order is so they can get an idea of how many people are buying for which device....
These guys have great customer service for being a small company. I wrote them a couple emails and their response was quick - called once and everyone I talked to was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to my Tatau case.

I just received my package from Amazon (my Maroo.com order still shows as "pending"). But I gotta say - the quality is top notch!
I got the Moko case in black - the leather feels nice and soft - smells great - all of the seams are very well put together - if you got in on the 50% off deal, I'm pretty confident you got the best case for your money.
For 22.50, I'm VERY impressed.
And very happy!

What material is the inner frame that grabs the iPad?

How is the stand position? Is it pretty stable with that flap?
I have the original iPad so I don't have anything to put in it yet to test the moko case but....
The stand position seems good. It's very stable in the upright position with a reasonable viewing angle. The back fold is roughly 2" to 2.25" in height (I'm measuring my original apple iPad case at about 1.5" for comparison). In the typing position it feels a little less stable but it's hard to tell without the device actually in there. It feels like it has a bit of bounce to it though more so the original case.
I'm not sure how to describe the corner material. It feels like a little flexible plastic type material. It feels like it will be protective without scratching the iPad but time will tell.
Mine smells a little funny not bad but it doesn't smell like real leather by any means. Overall appearance looks professional and build quality seems great and for the value with the sale I am very pleased.
Just a few observations.
Since Maroo is admitting that they are shipping iPad 2 cases for the new iPad, I am concerned that the hole in the case for the new iPad's rear camera might be too small. The new iPad's rear camera lens is notably larger compare to the iPad 2.

No word on shipping yet. I ordered a Moko on Monday the 12Th at 5:30 PM. On a positive note the other two cases I ordered have arrived. The Otter Box Defender and the Zoogue Genius. I am not sure which case/cases will go back if any at this point. I want to evaluate them when the Ipad arrives.
Same here, I ordered Monday night PST and still nothing... guess it's not going to be here by tomorrow. Doh!
No word on mine either. I ordered on Mon night. I went to Maroo's site and logged in my account and it said my order was still pending.
My husband ordered his Monday evening and didn't get an email and it still said pending last night, but it showed up today.

I received my Moko case today. It has the iPad 3 & 2 sticker on it, and it was shipped priority. I ordered it at 3pm on Monday. Quality looks good. I can't tell how the typing and stand features will work until it has the weight of the iPad in there.
Unfortunately, the box it came in was creased either in transit or when the postman shoved it into my mailbox. This put a crease on the front cover of the case, but I was able to get it out after 10 minutes of massaging.

Says it should be here tomorrow (too bad I got it shipped to my work - and I'm working from home tomorrow).
My Moko II order, however, is still showing as pending (even though I ordered it the day before I ordered the Toki).

Glad to see you were able to massage is out. Was the shipping container a box or an envelope?
I think you guys will be happy with the case.
I had one on my iPad 2 for about 5 months and loved it. Will prob use it for the new iPad as well.
I like that you can take the iPad out of the case without too much fuss if you needed to and when it's in the case its well protected.
