Marware CEO Hybrid iPad 2 case

Go figure right after I order from Adorama. Sending cancellation email.

It is showing up as not in stock from Amazon, but, at $23.99 with Prime, that's highway robbery for whenever it comes in stock.
 
Ordered the Microshell Folio as well. Thats 30.99. Great price again. Hopefully one of the two would be end of the search for me. How Amazon return policy? Do they pay for return shipping?
 
That's gotta be a pricing error but I ordered one anyways. If I don't like it I can just return it and if they cancel the order due to a mistake they'll probably issue a credit of 5 bucks as an inconvenience. God i love amazon.

Right now that link says it $49.99 and will not be available until April 21.

Look on the right side of the page for the Amazon link. Amazon is showing "temporarily out of stock" but does give the 23.99 price.

I took a second look and you are right! That's a crazy low price but there is still no telling when Amazon is going to get them. I'm stuck between canceling my order at Marware and getting it very soon or paying half the price and continuing to wait for Amazon to get it in stock.

I think it might be worth the wait though.

amazon is great about stuff like this. i order from them all the time. if they can't ship them out for whatever reason then they'll notify you cancel and likely issue an inconvenience charge. The worst case scenario here is that you pay nothing. Best case you get both cases for the price of one case on marware.com.

I ordered both. Feature wise the marware case is still my favorite of all the cases...just wish it was regular leather. I have the yoobao one coming any day now. I'll just return whichever of the 3 i don't like for free.

I just canceled my order through Marware and re-ordered 2 cases through Amazon. I don't see how I will get a better deal than this. I've ordered many things through Amazon and trust them. Hopefully, they'll get them in a reasonable amount of time.
 
Hmm....yeah they did change it. Glad I got in. I wonder if they'll cancel the existing orders. They may just take the hit on the mistake and avoid unhappy customers but who knows.

Hey just a heads up. I ordered this case about an hour ago when it was $23.99. It said it was back ordered and I'd be notified of when it would ship but my invoice showed $23.99.

I just went back to look again and see if they had updated the expected ship date and was shocked that my invoice showed $49.99. Amazon changed the price and did inform me before doing so.

Needless to say I sent a very strongly worded email to their customer service. We'll see what happens but want to let all of you know so you can check your own orders.

I just checked my order and it's still listed at $23.99
 
They may cancel or they may leave the existing orders. My bet is cancellation. But, my invoices are currently unmodified and have the low prices for both the CEO and the MicroShell Folio.
 
went to register just to discuss this case and found out I already have a account here...

Mad I missed out on the 23.99 price. Even if it was just temporary. Damn working getting in the way of looking at cases at work today...

So looking at the CEO and the microshell folio. Both look very enticing. Whoever said the folio was showing $30 at amazon, it is showing $69.99 now...Something is fishy with all of these prices though. I was looking at the folio on macmall last night and black was showing $30 and pink and silver were showing $34.99, now they are all over the place. Jumping around a bit for a product that hasn't even came out... Heck I can find multipel prices for the folio right now on macmall's site, multiple listings on there and they are different from 24 hours ago. Worried they will keep on going up

I can't find the perfect case, so one of these might have to work. I have the incase book jacket right now. I like it, but it is so T H I C K. what is the point of the thinner ipad2... I just want some protection and slim.

For the folio i really wish they made a white case or even the red, since they are showing just the microshell coming in both of those colors. I like the idea of silver, but I am worried it will look like cheap, blah, gray.

I emailed marware with questions about the folio. like dimensions, what the cover is made out of etc, no anwers.

Don't think thEy will cancel. Hasn't ever happened to me before. But amazon prices do they several times a day. So best to grab it while they're good. Lost a great deal on a tv earlier in the week.
 
My invoice is still showing 30.99 and 23.99 for each of them so no changes here. They did bring the price back up. If they do cancel my order or adjust my price then I'll send another angry email at them just to see what I can get. After all they change prices on stuff daily and sometimes the fluctuations can be drastic.

My bet is that they don't want to deal with the customer complaints so this will be something that they're just gonna have to bite the bullet on and eat the money for the few who actually got their orders in.

I'm assuming that only a select few actually got in at that price (that's also assuming that it was only a temporary pricing mistake yesterday) in which case it's not worth it for amazon to potentially anger dozens of people. I could understand if they price was mistakenly up for 2.99 or something insane but this just qualifies as a steal of a sale.
