Lesson learned, keep all orders until delivery. Assumed from recent launches that they’d have plenty to supply at launch.

I don’t think that’s a safe assumption, because this year was a big year for the Apple Watch, especially with the redesign, and new health features, this is about as popular as it has been since when the first GEN Watch launched back in April 2015. The Apple Watch was due for an upgrade, and I think consumers were ready for those changes.

Wow, this would frustrate the heck out of me!
After IStock was just updated a few minutes ago - no 44mm SS anywhere again. Today is my 14th and final day to return my 44mm aluminum to Apple Store, I honestly hate to do that.

I was going to just give in and place the order on Apple, seeing that delivery dropped to Nov 5-12. I don't even trust that delivery date to be honest.

Big supply and demand problem with these SS 44mm's

Yeah me too. I have a S1 Black SS, this time I want something different. All the pics of the Silver SS I see - and seeing it in person at Apple - it's so nice.

I got one of the Black SS 44mm from Target this morning...I've had the silver SS S0 and I liked it a ton. Thought maybe just a good idea to have a change. I just hope I like the black. Should be here by Friday.

I even found THIS site - Iowa State Hawk Shop

(few College shops have the SS listed, but sold out)

But Iowa State appeared it have them in stock. I emailed them and - no....they do not have these in stock and ready to ship now.

I see, so basically not worth using if you're just looking for 1 particular model, way too much information on that website

I suppose if you don't find any value in getting an email alert from istocknow when any of the stores you designated marks the product in-stock, then it's not worth using.

As for me, it's pretty nice to get the alert when the model/config I want becomes available for ordering for in-store pickup. Beats being stuck to the computer constantly refreshing and hoping.

Has anyone had any luck just going to stores and checking to see if they have stock? Because in store stock is different than the stock that shows up on the tracking sites right?

I’ve been to multiple stores multiple times. Nobody has had any 44mm silver steel watches since launch.

I tried a few times but they have never had any except for the gold SS models. I asked them last time if they have been getting any SS models and they basically said not since launch day.
