I'm in line. They're handing out tickets that would give you an appointment spot to buy a watch or pre order when the store opens. I think the numbers at around 65 right now. Someone should be walking out in the next 30 min or so and have some kind of idea of what the inventory is. Also, if someone's planning on getting here. There's a couple of hidden bike cops handing out more tickets to people skipping the stop sign on melrose than maxfield handing out apple watch tickets. So be careful
Honestly, if you are hoping to leave with a watch, what's in stock doesn't matter because it will be sold it before you get there to the crowd in line.

Unless it's a 38mm Space Gray. They had a bunch of those yesterday. Might be different today though since it's the weekend.
Am headed there now. Was just grabbing breakfast and a guy at the next table overheard our conversation about inventory at Maxfield.
Lo and behold he had a Space Grey on his wrist #.
I asked him what's the deal at Maxfield. He said he went Wednesday waited 4 - 5 hours and walked out with his watch #!
He also said not his first choice.
I'll report back what I find out what's up today##
My SS isn't supposed to ship till 5/8 and you know I can't wait that long since my roommates same model shipped today for Monday #!
Lo and behold he had a Space Grey on his wrist #.

Ok here's the deal today.
I just got one of the last tickets in the line for today. They said they will give me an appt time to come back today. My ticket is 199.
They said they already got for sure 100 watches and a choice of whatever's left today. So what they mean is that they are all gone for today - apparently.. I'm just grasping the situation here so this is my understanding so far.
If when I come back for my "appt@ they don't have what I want I can preorder it and it will be here in two days max - so they say.
So they give you a number ask you for ID and tell u the time to come back.

That is a complete lie. I ordered my 42 SS Milanese on Wednesday. Nothing yet. Take it with a huge grain of salt when they tell you it will be there on a day certain

My preorder is the SS black sport.
So how crazy is it that I go to Maxfield and get my number to select a watch then get home and guess what....
I check my email and I see a alert from Chase. A charge from Apple! And now my preorder says "Preparing for Shipmenr"...
Wth!!! It's all too weird. I'm still going to my Maxfield appt to see what's the story.
