I called again. Still nothing. I ordered on 5/2/15.
They said they expect shipment this week, and I said not today? And she said it's possible they receive something today but are definitely expecting one this week.

Am supposedly next in line for the 38 SG BSB

Thanks for checking. I'm sure you'll get your watch this week.:)

Just out of curiosity how many people are awaiting a 42mm SG BSB? I am and I ordered on 5/7. After seeing these post many people ordered before me and are still waiting. Im now nervous even if they do come in that I won't get one :/ Who else has ordered a 42 SG BSB?

I bought the same as you on the 5th for the wife but now I'm thinking when they call me, I'll get in line in the morning and try to get my 42. Maybe they will have a couple of overstock.

I ordered 42 SG BSB on 5/4 @ 2:45pm, still no call... :(

42mm SS WSB, ordered Friday 5/1. Still waiting.

The only way Maxfield is worth it is if you live close, get there early, and get one same day. At this point I'd rather wait till "July" which will probably change and the bottleneck will speed up and be June. I live in the San Gabriel Valley, 45 minute drive there. I did order on Friday (42 SS BSB) and see if I get it this week, or if I'm going to be a two-weeker like everyone else.

I'm going to be in LA for a few weeks.
Will it be possible for me to get the 38mm black sport?
What happens if it becomes available after I've paid and I've already left LA?

No for sure answer, they seem to always have 38 milanese, but it changes with their stock. You will have an easier time getting a 38 same day then anything else. If I were you I would get there early, see if you can get a 38 of any kind and if you don't, don't order from them. You cannot get a refund and they will not ship it to you, so if you leave LA and your watch isn't in, you're going to be in a frustrating situation.

No clue, they require you to bring your receipt and ID to pick it up. Unless you luck out and another influx of the model comes while you're here

I don't believe they ship. I don't think it will be more than a 2 week turnaround.

I am sitting in the parking lot now and what they have been telling everyone over the phone is true. Only 38mm Milanese in stock and they don't know when next shipment is coming.

When shipment does arrive pre-orders get filled first and then if there is anything left they will start selling it the next day.

Thank you for the update. Is anyone getting the Milanese at all?

This. Ordering from Maxfield's is not a great idea at this point; their supply seems to be dwindling, and the no refunds policy means you can't even hedge. I'm just happy that they had the watch I wanted in stock for purchase last Thursday.

I'm going to try and get a 38mm Milanese when I have time on Saturday morning. I'll post my findings this weekend. Would like to get a 42mm, but my wrist size can accommodate for either size.

I know you want the watch but don't settle. I almost bought a Stainless steel one last week and I told myself no. The SG sport is what you want. It's still "potentially" faster than Apple. Orders now say July. If I only have to wait 2 weeks then it's still a win.

Sg sport over SS? You have money for SS but chose so sport??Is this a joke?

I could easily afford the SS but I also chose to buy the sports. (No joke!!!) Since this is the first year I am sure that I will want the new one next year. And saving the extra $200 for the sports vs the SS just paid for half of my watch next year.

So if I have $200K to buy a Ferrari means I should buy one??

And when you do buy the $200K Ferrari you then have it stripped and have it all customized, right??? Otherwise it is "just a Ferrari"

If I were you, I'd buy the 38mm Milanese, as there are thousands of people across the country who can't make it into Maxfield who will pay top dollar to have one of these 38mm Milanese watches this week. You'd be doing them a service to make it available to them, and they would make it worth your while.

One more call to maxfield. No shipments today, but said tomorrow might be likely (though she did caveat OR this week). Says if received tomorrow they'll start making calls at 11ish

No it's not a joke. I have several reasons why I don't want to SS.

1. First gen. Why waste money when I know I'm going to buy the next gen and it will be better. The SS does the exact same thing as the sport. The black leather magnet band looks just as good on the sport as the SS.

2. I'm very active and I use my pebble all the time. The apple watch is suppose to be for activity, which is how I plan to use it. I've been waiting for a watch with HR monitoring. My pebble is beat to hell because I use it all the time. I assume my apple watch will share the same fate.

3. I have other watches. This isn't going to be my go out / show off watch. I have my Rolex, or Movado for that.

Lastly, I have money because I don't waste it. If you find value in the SS, more power to you. This is the first apple product that I didn't fall into the hype with. It doesn't offer me anything more for my money. Not more memory, or a faster processor. Just better glass, that is more prone to shatter if dropped.

Agree with this. Although I don't have a Rolex but I also would be using it for activity and would rather wait for Gen 2 to get the nicer model.
Although, the 38 SS is tempting but strictly due to the faster delivery time, nothing more.

I agree 100% with everything you said.
