I wouldn't mind waiting if I was originally told it was going to be X number of days/weeks/months before you get your watch. Instead we were being told it would be only a few days. We handed them our credit cards for a NON-REFUNDABLE purchase being misled. Again, at least when ordered from Apple they are saying it is going to be between this date and this date and if you change your mind you can always cancel at anytime.
Who cares he's the one that seems bitter at people around LA who had the opportunity to buy in store. Also the one with the logic of needing to buy SS over SG simply because you've the money for it.
Possible good news... I just called and the woman I spoke to said they got a shipment a few minutes ago and there are some watches in it but they just started to unpack it and logging everything in. I of course asked if she knew if the SG sports were in it and she said they just started to unpack it and has no idea what is in it yet. I asked her if we would get a call today. She said most likely tomorrow morning but there is a small chance if they are able to finish unpacking today they will start making calls today... I asked what they had for walk-ins and she said still the only thing they have available is the 38 Milanese. So hopefully the person I talked to is right and they did get new watches today.
Yes, if they call you for pickup and you can make it in before 7pm, otherwise it'll be tomorrow. Good luck
Also they have made calls close to closing time, or even a few minutes past. that's when they've slowed down and just making calls for next day pickup.
I have a 5:30 meeting in the area. I may try and stop by if I get out in time.
Funny thing, this watch isn't even for me. It's for my wife. I haven't ordered mine yet.
I agree that if we do get calls tonight, it will probably be close to or after Maxfield closes. Let's hope there's enough in this shipment for all of us.
Im just hoping the lady you spoke to knew what she was talking about and it wasn't just a shipment for something else. Maybe another call just to verify and hopefully speak to another salesperson. But thats great news!!!!
I called. At first the rep said they have yet to receive a shipment...
Then I said oh but I was told you did a couple hours ago.
She put on hold and said oh right, haven't gone through them yet but will call if the preorders are in there.
Hah, I just called myself..The gentlemen I spoke with said they haven't received anything this whole week, but I told him that someone there said they received a shipment today. He put me on hold then said they did receive a small order and still processing it.
