Here is the article from macgeneration :

Well here's to you for people who don't speak french (i speak french so it won't be a google translation and i will also only translate what you need to know)

Here it is :

They are doubting about the presences of the ssd (16gb for os) on the 13 inch model but it has been confirmed that it would be present on new macbook pro (probably 15 and 17 model) Also the presences of two hard drive would be invisible to the user who would only see one drive.(like the seagate momentus)(this information has yet to be confirmed)

The rest is pretty much the same as the german specs except for the 1280 x 800 screen which does'nt match with their information.

And here is the bad part : they are thinking these are the specs for the HIGH END model , low end model would be getting core I3

If you have other questions about any information in french or help for translation , just ask.

The screen resolution could not be too much higher because things would be a bit difficult to see wouldnt they ?

Yeah, the mDP is mentioned in the same bullet as Thunderbolt, so the pic could be true.

Although wasn't lightpeak designed for all sorts of connections (like this?).

Guessing they've merged the two, going by the new icon next to it.

This is a good thing - means it'll be copper, therefore bus power is most likely available, unlike a fibre optic solution.

Not to mention - that ain't liquid metal.

Hahahhahaah, no design change for MBP (Early 2011).

KEEP DREAMING Guys!!

Makes sense, then you could have just one connector to your MB from the display, and then have a hub type device on there.

Bit late with the picture, there.

Did anyone actually *want* a design change? Unibody is perfect, I haven't seen a single person complain about the design.

Thunderbolt? Is Apple taking a leaf out of Nintendo's book by creating great code names, but stepdad-lame final names?

Does the single monitor combo port mean we need to shell out extra $$$ on a Light Peak hub, uh, sorry "Thunder Pad" to get more ports, or will it daisy chain?

Hmm. :(

Wouldn't it be possible that this is a new 999$ entry level model replacing the white Macbook? Then the Pros starting at 1199$ would feature higher-res screens, boot-SSDs and so on.

Be careful with SSD's speculations. I think that uncle Steve is going to avoid us from replacing the hard drive by some kind of trick.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Tbh it's not a bad upgrade. 13" now joins the 15"+ with a core i series processor and the gfx drop makes no difference as the intel hd gfx is comparable to the nvidia gfx used before. All good

I really hope so, for the GPU if nothing else. I use my 2009 13" base MBP to play all sorts of games, none of which support Intel's garbage cards. I damaged my screen (so I need to use a monitor) and really wanted to replace it this refresh.

Mate, you have to get use to Apple's underwhelming ways.

This is the real deal, and maybe even the high-end 13" model too!

MacBidouille do seem to think this is specifically for the new MBP...

"We just received the full specifications of a new MacBook Pro 13""

Hi, one of the F5-per-minute guys here.

I'm the only one thinking this is just ****????!?!?!?!? I sold my MBP 2010 last month just to get the spanking new and WORST one????

I'm going to commit Appleicides.

Oh, I am used to them. But consider that Apple are also rumored to axe the white MB, so... what's going to replace it, if not something like this leaked device? It's the only thing that makes sense to me - why would they release an MBP with such a crappy resolution? Everyone in their right mind would just get an MBA with 1440x900.
