Working for me, though I really wish it wouldn't say @me.com when I write peeps now. I'll have to force it to say @mac.com.. lame.
Mine didn't work but as soon as I went in (as someone else posted) and created an alias, it started working for both. Took out the alias and it still works.
I sent a test email to @me.com and hit reply to see if it would reply from @me.com but it replied from @mac.com.
I wonder if that's the way it'll be always or how to set it up so that if the mail comes to @me.com, it'll reply from @me.com.
And with Apple, if it's not about me, it's about i.
just create an alias dudeNo go for me in Oz yet but will keep a check on it.

So... I guess this fits with my suspicion that MobileMe will be up sometime next week... however the FAQ states that:
So ... maybe my suspicions are incorrect.
Or you can just do what I did. I like the mobile me name but not just me.com too wierd sounding. I own themobileme.com that way I have control and still feel unique![]()
Wonder whynever used username@mm.com for mobile me abbreviation purposes.
because mm.com is taken. belongs to some local isp in minnesota.
