I knew it!!!
To drive home how advanced the iPad2 is, it will be presented by none other than Buzz Lightyear.

I hope not. With the new Wi-Fi hot spot on the iPhone I am now more incline to do the $20 Tethering option then get a dedicated 3g model and pay for 3g.I really do. If they are putting the same 3G Data chip in the Verizon iPhone, iPhone 5 and iPad 2, I would hope that they could get the costs down enough to just offer 3G in every model.
Or include 3G chips in the higher capacity models and the low capacity model would be wifi only? 6 SKUS is just too many.
Does anybody think that the wifi and 3g versions will be the same?
I'll believe it when I see the invites
Finally, some iPad 2 news.
If it's March 2nd, then expect an official announcement tomorrow!![]()
Doesn't make sense to me...release new Macbooks this Thursday which are supposedly a redesign, then next Wednesday a media event only for the IPad? Maybe the 24th is wrong??
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)
Does anyone think there might be some kind of price shift? Like dropping the 16gb and pricing the 32gb like the 16gb and maybe introduce a 64gb version? Here's to hoping anyway. I'd like to get the 32 at a cheaper price.
LOL that delay rumor REALLY hurt.
Someone was pressuring Apple to release some news. So they leak this in response.
Lately, I've been content to let the dust settle, and simple walk into an apple store months after debut and buy product...
But I've been waiting for an ipod 2, so what;s the process if you want one first week or so?
Do you expect on-line ordering to be offered, perhaps with a delayed ship date as the que is filled? Or are the really new things only available initially to those who wait in-line at a store?
I want a new MBP pronto! Does this mean that MBP wont get light peak or any other major overhaul, or does it mean they will release MBPs and iPads simultaneously. the former wouldnt make sense from a business standpoint as they dont want consumers trying to decide between getting one or the other and they dont want media attention split [it would be focused primarily on the iPad and the MBP would go under the radar].
The last time Steve Jobs was on medical leave, Phil Schiller did the honors for the 17 inch MacBook Pro in January 2009. I think they will have someone else do it, rather then Steve Jobs appearance become more of a story than the iPad 2 is.
I'll bet they will have that hillbilly CEO do it.
