Media Event for Next-Generation iPad Set for March 2nd?

wasn't there something about even tho he's on medical leave he's still doing iPhone related stuff, maybe he's doing iPad related too
So let me get this straight:
An iPad 2 with front and rear facing cameras, a new port (light-peak), and 3G/4G at higher price points ($599 to start, the $499 will be the "old" one) and this is exciting?

Rumor has it, that this rumor may be true or not true.
Analysts close to an Apple store saw an Apple employee holding up two fingers before marching off clearly indicating that the once rumored secret staff meeting that wives were not invited to may have actually happened while no one was looking.
The Wall Street Journal backs up this report noting that they saw two Best Buy employees huddled around a computer pointing and whispering while making notes on a calendar clearly marked March 2, 2001.

Numerous unknown sources have said they've seen many cars and people come and go from the Cupertino campus also indicating that some event must be in the works sometime in the near future.

Hoping the MBPs wait till a press release, perhaps meaning the improvements are more significant.
I'm sure he is working behind the scenes, but I don't think that will include doing work in the public eye. However, the question is will he do the public introduction. I say its highly unlikely for two reasons. FIrst, it takes weeks of practice to get these presentations right. Second, Steve Jobs would become the story, not the iPad 2.
Not to discredit you, but for what it's worth there are also no events today (Tuesday, 2/22), nor on Monday 2/28, nor on Mon-Tues-Wed of the second week of March.
Let's set the bar high. With the iPad 2 I expect it to be:
Not too much to ask is it?
- paper thin
- outfitted with 2 TB of flash memory
- able to read my mind ('cause the current screen keyboard sucks)
- fingerprint and dust super-repellent
- able to provide syncing to the cloud
- available in five colours (primary only, as us guys can't see any other variations)
- priced at $100 max for the full 2 TB

WTF are you talking about? The iPad 2 will not have 4G. And where do you get the higher price points? I also highly doubt it will have Light Peak. Whomever you got your info from really sucks.
