I'm not sure about a few hundred posts making you part of a close-knit family, nor even a few thousand. It all depends on just how memorable you are with your posts. For example, my posts are sparse and vary between many sub-forums, so I wouldn't expect to be recognised for that reason.

Early on there was a like a secret society around here, before the demihood, and it had a lot of play, but some of the older members will have to recall what it was all about. It had a name that I can't recall this early in the morning.
