Save yourself $100 and get QY7s (branded under SoundPeats, Flexion, Mpow, Senbowe) if you're just using them for sports and working out. They are incredibly good for $20-$30.

Then you can use that $100 towards some nice wired headphones (or high-end non-sport BT headphones) for your serious music enjoyment.

----------

The Cheetahs aren't as good as the QY7s (Mpow calls them Swift). You might want to check those out, too. The QY7s are found under several other brands, all essentially the same.

But either way, this is the best way to go if you're just using the headphones for working out. Save your big money for some seriously nice headphones to use when you aren't working out.

I saw these, but didn't like that they don't wrap around your ears. That seems like you're just asking for trouble if you're running (and I plan to use these mountain biking as well, so them falling off would not work). The ones I posted arrive tonight, so I'm kind of excited to test them out!

Bluedio H-Turbine Bluetooth Stereo Headphone, Retail Package, White

Beats over the ear clone with great bass and nice price. Wife bought, I was skeptical...then tried them and decided to get my own. Nice bass and comfortable and super loud!

Any good bluetooth headphones that look and feel like Apple's EarPod ones? I'm not a big fan of in-ear headphones, they tend to hurt real bad.

Beats powerbeats 2 wireless - heaps of good reviews, I have them and love them, great sound and they don't go in your ear, they sit just inside your ear without pushing in and comes with different tips to change to what's the most comfortable for you

Beats solo 2 wireless

Figured I'd comment since I just picked up some beats solo 2 wireless last night at the Apple Store in the limited edition space grey color.

Background- I like beats. I'm going to to just start by saying that. I always have. I am a drummer and I like thumping bass. Started with the solo hd's. Had those for a while then picked up studio 2.0's, while I had those my dad got executives, and now I have these studio 2.0's wireless. I won't be able to comment on battery life quite yet because I just got them.

The allure for me to pick these up initially was wireless. I really wanted wireless with the impending arrival of my apple watch. The limited edition colors are sweet too. Secondly, I wanted headphones that would work with a cord when the battery died (studios don't work when they die, even with the cord).

Now on to sound. Given the background of beats I've had/ tried, these sound quite good. They are no longer that bass overpowered headphones they once were when I had solo hd's. They are very balanced with a nice amount of bass while still maintaining a good mix of mids and highs. I'd say they are the best sounding out of the ones I've had/ heard in the past.

The most surprising thing I've found with these is that they are considerably MORE comfortable than the studios. I couldn't tell you why that is, but that's my opinion so far. They are so light and Bluetooth just makes things so confident. I am a student and just this morning I ran into a situation that I would have never called a "big deal" in the past but it was quite convenient. I was working in the computer lab and I printed something out. I just left my phone on the desk and walked over to the printer and got my work. Big deal? Not at all. Cool? Of course! Felt so much more unrestricted.

The look of these is pretty cool too. The space grey color comes with a matte black control talk cord and matte black charging cord. Coming from studio 2.0's I was a bit saddened that these don't come with a charging brick, but that's a minor annoyance. For the price they should have come with a block, and a nicer case. I like how much smaller they are on my head though and all in all I prefer them over the studios!

Let me know if you guys have any other specific questions!

I just bought these, I've heard good things about Jabra. But for $30, if they suck, I won't be out much.

Best in ear Bluetooth headphones for Apple Watch?

So I think I'm gonna retire my iPod shuffle and start using my Apple Watch (when it arrives) for my music whilst working out.

The thing is I don't really know what Bluetooth headphones to buy. I'm not that bothered about sound quality if I'm being honest, more price, battery life and comfort.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

I don't have my Watch yet, but I bought a pair of Jaybird Freedom Sprints. Have been using with my iPhone and they are very comfortable and easy to use. Unfortunately, I find the max volume level for music to be somewhat lacking.

if your into casual stuff, LG makes a line of Bluetooth headsets that I really dig. I'm a critical music listener and they do the job, I just upgraded from the 750 to 800. Their not exactly buds but close.

I purchased these from Amazon. The order was filled by Amazon at the time.. $29.99. For the money they are fantastic. Comes with a carrying case and charger, multiple size silicone covers for different size ears. Battery lasts longer then the advertised time and they charge quickly. Obviously not for an audiophile but if you want something that can get all sweaty at the gym etc... These are them.

Also - work very well for phone calls.

They are not advertised and noise canceling but do so better than some others I have previously owned.

Are there any bluetooth headphones that can easily switch between 2 or 3 devices? My use case scenario is that I want to use them for the watch when I'm travelling to work, but then for my iPad when I'm watching something on my lunch break.

After reading a ton of positive reviews I just grabbed the Soundpeats Qy7 (effectively same as Mpow) for $30 on amazon. thanks for the tip!

Hey I have the Jaybird BlueBud X's too and they are great, when you say you bought better tips, how and what did you go for?
I recently got the Bluebuds as well, and got Comply Tsx-500 Comfort PLUS Earphone Tips to go with them. I gotta say, those tips made a HUGE difference in sound quality and isolation. Highly recommended!

The Bluebuds can pair with up to 8 devices, but you don't use the buds to switch between devices. You just have to turn off bluetooth on any in-range devices except for the one you want to play from.
