I figured you were just kidding but it just trips me out how so many people post these negative comments or instead of answering some ones question they dog them for not choosing the search option for an answer.
How would any one like it if they walked up to a friendly looking group of people at a widget convention and mentioned a thought that you had or question about the latest and greatest widget and was told to get lost because the subject had been discussed enough earlier and maybe you should even go back to your hotel room and do some research instead of bugging them?
I just don't get some of the attitudes around this forum

It would seem that you are a slightly spoiled kid, or someone with some income but a total lack of priorities, who has too many toys to appreciate the $$ they cost, is consumed my "Motocross" ?? - ok, but really you posted a needless thread about a "CONFIRMED" - yeah please - white iPhone 4 (btw, guys want this why?) with a completely unreliable source and then gave us the poor girl's name and store phone #. For what it's worth, my friend who works at the biggest Apple Store in the Philadelphia area said they will have them on launch day. I asked another kid who works in the store in DC and he said yes, they'll be in and he'll have to unpack them. I read in the Apple forums that Carphone Warehouse in the UK already received their shipments and they have white. So I don't see why Apple Stores wouldn't have them. I really hope they do. Not giving false hope, just posting the research I did. So take that as you may, flame if you want.
Non-availibility of white iPhone is...
pure marketing genius in my opinion. Apple knew that the black iphone is going to create enough craze. There was never white iPhone before (until 3g) so a lot of ppl are definitely going to settle for black one anyways.
"Launching" the white iPhone sometime later will again bring iPhone buying frenzy and additional publicity, media hype!
This is something similar what apple used to do with iPods (not touch). Apple will release iPods in white and black initially and just before the holiday season they will refresh the lineup with new colors to attract additional customers.
I don't think the pre-order volume would have been down even when Apple had launched only "pink" iPhone (sarcasm). But these "new events" create additional hype and publicity for the same iPhone. Apple has to make sure it remains in the news as it launches only 1 Phone model per year while HTC, MOTO keeps on dumping one (android phone) per month (almost). Apple wants media to keep the focus on the iPhone even though it's not a new model but a new color. See how HTC EVO 4G white gets a news now. When white iPhone starts shipping it will get much much more publicity and ppl who bought black ones will again buy white ones.
