[Merged] iPhone 4 pre-order only available in black / not available in white

MY GOD! ALL this DRAMA! The first thing I saw when I was going to pre-order the phone was that the white version was not available for pre-order or pickup. That automatically raises a flag that the phone will not be on sale by release day.
Why would other stores like BB or At&t have it if not even the makers of the phone will have it. If you want the white version you will definitely have to wait. It's just common scene.
 
I'll have to see it for myself, or if Apple announces it. I think white will be an exclusive color. Apple seems to be aiming for everyone to have just black.

The validity of her "guarantee" probably goes hand-in-hand with her level of accountability should the white iPhone be unavailable (as widely expected) come launch day.

"But you 'guaranteed' that you'd have the white iPhone in stock!"
"Sorry, I was given false information. Do you want a 16 or 32gb in the black color?"

Your "common scene" isn't logical. There's no word either way as to whether or not the white will be available on launch day. The people who are shooting it down, primarily, are the people that have already preordered or are fine getting a black one, thus, they have little to no reason to speculate... Which, as I said, speculation is the only thing people can do. I personally take everything Apple has done with the white model at face value... It's not available for preorder and it's not available for in-store pickup. That, in a logical and straightforward manner, mean absolutely nothing other than what they claim. It doesn't say, "The white iPhone 4 will not be available on June 24th." When that's said, I'll take that as fact. As it is now, I'm still under the assumption that it will be available on release day. Apple has yet to say anything falsifying that assumption. It's logic mixed with a little bit (a lot) of hope.
 
if i was apple i would not release the white iphone until after the 30 day return policy expires just to not have to deal with all the exchanges. lol

Well I just find listings of people that are selling them kind of underpriced and then just turn around and make another listing for the phone with a higher price. All on Craigslist. :D

I don't think they are being mean, I think they want these phones to be available to every one who wants one - why wouldn't they?

My thinking is that there has to be some White iPhones produced and ready to ship out but for some very good reason there will not be enough to go around on the 24th. By not allowing for pre-orders they can make sure that the few that are out there ready for sale can be more evenly distributed through out the regions where the new iPhone will be made available on launch day.

Its true I am speculating and maybe this subject is getting old for some of you but why do folks willingly step into a conversation just to announce that they are bored with the topic of choice.

Everybody didn't show up to this "party" early and some of us would like a chance to exchange our thoughts and opinions with those that are currently interested in this topic.

You had to of known from the heading that this thread was about something you didn't care about so why bother reading or posting if you don't care?:confused:
