I think the person meant how are you gonna do the actual swap yourself. It's not like it just snaps right off and is meant to be swapped like that. You'll need tools of some sort I think, no?

How many other people are going nuts trying to figure out what color they want ??? It's getting closer and closer and I keep changing my mind!

After reading the giz dissection article, it seems quite doable. Now, if it was a matter of replacing the front glass, that would be a very different story...

We're getting a black, AND white iPhone 4, so we can trade off if we don't like one of the colors. :)

It would be more effective to just not post in a duplicate thread than being obnoxious.
 
I think the white bezel will be a distraction, kinda glaring. It wont make the screen "pop". Plus I'm afraid gunk will build up over time around the white edges, especially around the home button. Fingerprints wipe off easily, but that gunk is a little tougher.
 
as much as i like every1 would love to get my mitts on iP4 on the 24/6, i wont be buying my o2 payg UNTIL i see both in the flesh...too expensive a decision...leaning towards white but like i say, me needs to touch, feel n look.
 
The photos of people holding it after the event make white look kind of matte and off-white, which I like. But the PR photos at the beginning of this thread make it look glossy.

If it's matte I'd want it. Something about the curved back going away makes the white more appealing now.
