[Merged] iPhone - White vs. Black (2010 / iPhone 4 Edition)

I previously couldn't stand the white ones.. It looked cheap. White plastic on the back, then chrome, then the front was black.
The all white is very appealing to me, it looks very sleek now. I'll make my final call in person, but so far i'm 98% going towards a 16gb white one.

I hate when people talk when using cell phones when driving but if your nor of this people o suggest getting black, will be harder for a cop to see rather than a big white phone next to your ear.
The black one looks very much like all the other iPhones previously released. The all white is totally different and looks more sleek as well. People know u have the iPhone 4 when they see the white one. The black one looks like an old 3G 
Man i've been going backwards and forwards on this and quite liturally annoying the hell out of folk around me on what would look best. My only and main concern as always been, does the white border affect the viewing experiance in regards to waatching videos or surfing the internet as it won't blend in as much.
In videos the black borders won't blend in with the rest of the phone and also the little black border on the actual screen that if you look closely you can see where there are no pixels on both phones but easier to see on the white.
In regards to what makes me feel more "giddy" as someons said previously, probably the white as to me looks more asthetically pleasing and different, yet it's the screen we all look at just like watching a tv, wonder how off putting a White bezzled tv would look compared to the usual norm of black!?
But saying that, the above picture does scream white...pick me pick me lol

While I think the white is flashier and looks new, the black is pretty gorgeous. It's so sleek looking. I think I've made my decision for black (took long enough
) since my last iPhone was white, it's so sleek, and I think I might get tired of the all white. Sure, it shows fingerprints, but they wipe off easily. It's too hot to pass up!

Well this slashgear video compares white/black side by side at 00:51... http://tv.slashgear.com/iphone-4-hands-on-1112/ both looking pretty sleek even in terms of screen 'pop', you be the judge though still a tough decision
Guess you better get rid some of your socks and shirts. You might want to change your toilet paper also. And I sure hope you don't have to repaint majority of your walls in your house/apartment! Oh and God forbid you have a white car... it's such a girly color!

For those interested, go to YouTube and search on Apple Iphone 4, and then click on the cnet video of the guy holding both phones. White is so much more beautiful, but the major downside you can see in the video is the black border around the entire display. The black iphone has it as well, but you don't see it due to the phone being black. The huge downside to the black is check out how nasty the one he was holding looked. Covered in greasy fingerprints. Yuck. Not sue what's worse, the black border around the entire screen on the white, or the ugliness of the black after simply being handled.
Can anyone with a white 3GS or white 3G chime in about the black border around the display. Did you get used to it after a while?
It only really bothered me when I was in direct sunlight playing games or watching a movie.
