I like the white, but I will be going with black this go round along with the black bumper. Black is my favorite color.
 
For a guy (me), black hands down. White is 1) girly and 2) unprofessional, unless you are a woman. Ultimately, it's a moot point since it will get covered up anyway as it will probably be hard to grip w/o a case. Those smooth edges are dangerous.
 
I sure am glad to see so many others having second thoughts about the white iPhone 4 model. I have the White 3G and love it, but this new one, as many have said does appear cheaper, the black one just looks so sharp. It didn't help that someone posted a view of the White with the bumper on it. That does look pretty neat!!!! Now I'm really torn!!!
 
I have owned a white 3G and 3GS and love them. However, the white iPhone 4 is not appealing to me. It looks like a white G1. That's just my opinion. I m going to go with the black one for this Generation. Can't wait!
 
Oh I can't decide!!!! I really like the look of the white. But I think that's only because it's different for me, having had the black 3G since launch... But I like the black too.

I hate decisions like this. I think my head will explode! :(

To be completely honest your view of the white iPhone is completely subjective and a bit loaded. I doubt anyone is going to question my masculinity because I have a white iPhone :rolleyes:

Agreed. I'll be going with the black mainly because I feel that it's more professional and sleek. The only thing I don't like is how bad the smudges/fingerprints look here: http://www.engadget.com/photos/iphone-4-hands-on-black/#3053047

Although I'll most likely be using a case on the back anyway so it shouldn't matter.
 
White looks like cheap rubbish from the front, and I see now that other posters are picking up on that too.

And I loved the older gen white iPhone..

EDIT: I see the photo of white from behind and I admit it looks wicked from behind, maybe real life front shot can be nice too..

I have a white iPhone and I guarantee I am more of a man than you, backed up solely by your comment.

I was wondering the same thing....it must not be (that) visible on the black version....

I am sure Steve made mention of it in his keynote, guess we'll have to wait and see when Apple releases the official video
 
I felt with the White 3G and 3GS they looked much better in the flesh. When I looking on the net before the 3G launch I didn't like white at all, but after seeing it in the store, I like it!

The white front reminds me of a samsung touch phone released not too long ago, which for some reason is off putting!
