Probably won't ever happen. I read something where iphone is like 77% return customers. They have their fans, but I find ios boring. I don't know why people say its so polished and they love it. Its a bunch of app icons with a horrible notification system. I think android has the way prettier os. And I think the droid has awesome screen, I see no pixels. Potato potata I guess, but android has so many phones you'll never see the same exicement and high sales numbers. That and they get updated so much and work so well you don't need one every year.
No ONE phone will ever be better than an iPhone. It's all the Android phones combined that will eventually overtake Apple in mindshare and marketshare.
Well put. The droid x is going to "kill" the i4 as much as the first moto droid killed the 3GS.
Yeah... You don't seem to be too savvy on Android phones. The Droid X is wayyy faster than your Nexus one given the same OS. (The EVO 4G can be used as a proxy for the 2.1 nexus one pretty much) The Droid X's processor and GPU are significantly faster than snapdragon and its Adreno GPU.

The Droid X is significantly faster than the HTC evo. Actually, the evo runs like a piece of junk compared to the Droid X.
Unlikely to ever happen because competing Android phones cannibalize into their own sales.
The same could be said about the previous data plan for the iPhone. A lot of people would have rathered just use wifi and not pay $30 a month for data, but it was mandatory.
I love my 3G and have an iPhone 4 in the mail by the way, I was just making a point.

It's known that EVO has a framerate cap to conserve battery life.. who knows what else HTC did to limit performance in order to save battery? so u cannot say n1 will perform like an evo if they were both running 2.1

This, combined with at least three people laughing at me about the iPhone reception problem -- how strange to see apple become the butt of jokes.

Is it me or there are just too many different Droid phones out there? I've lost track of who makes which Droid. Droid X is what. There are HTC Incredibles, Android from Google, HTC EVO, HTC Aria. Too many hardware based on same OS....what a mess.
Wow. That's funny. I bet Verizon is going to get in on this as well. I can see a slew of joke commercials coming.
That's what happens when you become the most popular brand. Microsoft took its share, so has toyota, so has walmart, so has best buy, and google....once you become famous, be prepared to be scrutinized.
I can't wait to see all these commercials on TV/internet. I think every IP4 customer with reception issues due to faulty design submit videos. Like one of those "I'm a PC" commercial....but people holding the IP4 and losing signal and switching to another phone. I will still keep my IP4 and complain just to upset all these Apple fans. It is quite awesome just for that feature. 
This is why HTC can't make 1 solid phone. All of them have unacceptable issues such as dust under the screen and LCD screen issues. And all of them are pretty simular accept for minor changes. HTC is like the GM of cell phones.
Well said. Outsides may be a little different but insides they are mostly the same.
I am not disagreeing with you (I do agree about your statement on HTC), but my iPhone 3G and 3GS both had "light leaks", and the 3G has a lot of dust under the screen. One of my 3G's had a screen issue (manufacturing defect and was replaced with no trouble).
