I was not sure it would make it since i ordered on the 12th, but it moving right along from ATT store.

This is what I have too. Scheduled delivery to AT&T on 6/18. What are the chances I can go to the store tomorrow and trick them into giving it to me a day early?

I really doubt it, but I will ask that's for sure. :) Odds are they're under strict orders and would be calling down the thunder if the computer system shows them checking it out. I'm just happy it looks very likely to be there at 7 AM Friday.
 
Checked mine this morning and mine finally shipped and I got a FedEx tracking number.

I ordered from an AT&T store on Saturday the 13th. Expected arrival time (at the AT&T store) is June 18th.
 
Still have my "prepared for shipment" on the Apple page. I checked and Apple has still yet to bill my card. Two things I am sure of, I will get my phone on Friday, and Apple WILL take my money before then. Hopefully I get a tracking number tonight as I go the "prepared for shipment" status sometime last night after 7pm EDT

Actually, UPS is claiming that each of us requested that they hold it so we could get the excitement of opening it together....

THE RECEIVER REQUESTED A HOLD FOR A FUTURE DELIVERY DATE. UPS WILL ATTEMPT DELIVERY ON DATE REQUESTED.

OK, who did this? Come on admit it now we know for sure our first batch of fresh iPhones 3G S units were on UPS 063 based on the scan data.

I finally got a shipment notification this morning. So much for the BS about early orders already being in the U.S. I ordered from Apple at 6:48 p.m. on June 8 and my phone is still being shipped direct from China.

I also got the "this service is not available to the destination" message. No idea what's up with that. I had it sent to my business, and I know UPS does deliver overnight to my address because I have a refrigerated mail-order prescription delivered every month.

We'll see. Scheduled delivery is for the 18th, but as long as it does come on the 19th I'll be satisfied.

Wonderful. I ordered on the 8th and only turned to "Prepared to ship" yesterday. Hoping for an on-time arrival on Friday. :)

Well, it was made in China, so it came from there at some point. :) I'm betting that both AT&T and Apple have a stockpile in their US distribution centers and will be shipping from here. I think yours is in that bunch. There seem to be MANY people who's orders say that are preparing to ship. I think all those are sitting in containers all boxed up waiting to be picked up today or tomorrow for a Friday delivery.
 
Ok, who's phone is in Dallas?

I'm here in DFW, and I ordered from ATT online, that gives me hope that I might get my phone on Friday.

I just realized something. I might not get my tracking number until late also.

I'm in DFW (Addison/Carrollton) and if all the phones are coming from here.....mine's probably already here. I forgot that all the phones from ATT always ship from this area.

That gives me a bit of hope for Friday.
 
Mine shipped but still scheduled for 22nd

My iPhone has finally shipped and I honestly didn't care too much that it seemed like it wasn't going to get here until next week. Then I got the email from Apple apologizing for the confusion and assuring me the phone would be here on the 19th. So, then I got excited about having it for the weekend. Now, it's shipped and UPS tracking number says it won't arrive until the 22nd. Nothing I can do but wait and see but that surely does suck.

Anyone else's tracking number tell them theirs won't get here until Monday?

i had the same thing occur when apple sent me the shipment notification but upon checking the ups website, it said shipped on the 17th, and will deliver on the 19th. maybe just give it a couple hours and hopefully it will change.
