I just got mine. I ordered on the 11th. Apple said it now delivers by the 23rd, but UPS says it is on time for tomorrow.
Please explain. Just because you can't get your phone before it is released does not mean a company sucks.
I ordered on the 11th online for home delivery, no tracking number yet.
Just spoke with AT&T and was told that I wont get the tracking number until they ship (no *****) and they don't have them to ship yet. I guess my order is fine which is all I really care about. My luck with ordering stuff online hasn't been the greatest in the last 6 months so I was worried the order got screwed. As long as I get it by the end of next week I will be a happy camper though sooner would certainly be appreciated!

we got the same letter that shipped in the 1st batch been covered in this thread. one it leaves apple it's it in the hands of the shipper ups or fedex both are being used. my guess is your phone will be on the plan tonight and ya will have it Friday!

Ditto. I guess the shipment will arrive in LAX, then ship to wherever?
Apple also claims 23rd for delivery while UPS states tomorrow (18th) like you ibeard. I ordered about 6 AM CST on the 10th from apple directly.
I know some people said they called apple concerning the arrival date. Should I, like others, be concerned or just wait because there's really nothing I can do? I didn't get overnight shipping, just standard.

check this out...the origin scan is Dallas/FT Worth?? weird...apparently thats where they are storing the direct fulfillment for stores?? so not directly from china? they must have already housed the phones there....i know at&t has a warehouse there....FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!

Not to mention I was so excited to see those UPS emails when I woke, only to find them saying to keep waiting. I really cant spend another day on this thread.

I just ordered off of apple.com yesterday morning received my conformation email at midnight and status order has been preparing to ship for 12 plus hours. After reading some of the before posts, not all 117 lol, it seems this is normal and im kinda on par with you guys??? and should be fine for a friday delivery too?
Actually the AT&T DF units came bulk from China and are being split and grouped for shipment to the AT&T stores. DFW is one of two major AT&T facilities. Your phone will be sourced from the warehouse that is for you region of the country. that's what it is but they can tell if its a credit card or Debit cards by the numbers on the cards and process them accordingly. oh well Money's there when Apple wants it!
