This is the way to do a launch. I think a lot of people are enjoying the real-time tracking, although some are certainly have signs of high anxiety.
Ordered mine June 10 and it still has not shipped
Same for me. Ordered the 9th.
Still in prepared to ship. I've never anticipated the arrival of something like this...lol...This is definitely the support group for those awaiting the 3gs as someone said earlier.

check this out...the origin scan is Dallas/FT Worth?? weird...apparently thats where they are storing the direct fulfillment for stores?? so not directly from china? they must have already housed the phones there....i know at&t has a warehouse there....FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!

Just curious as to wether or not anyone has called Apple today. I know as of Monday, when I finally ordered mine that they said they were still on time for deliveries to be made for the 19th. I wonder what they would say if you ordered today though. I would find it kinda hard to believe.

No, not yet, they are only 12 hours ahead of EDT so it is only 9:41 PM Today (Wed) in HK.

So are you guys declining the Shipment Release Terms and Conditions so that you don't have to sign for it?
I've had some bad luck w/ UPS & FedEx dropping packages at the wrong house up the street because they are apparently dyslexic.
I'm thinking of just having someone sign for it.
Most of you guys are accepting or declining that offer?

yup i was thinking it was 24hrs ahead...well its 5'clock somewhere i know that!
I'm getting mine from the AT&T store as a preorder but what I would do is decline the offer to release signature, that's kinda chancy in my opinion. If you're not there when they deliver you can always call UPS and pick up your package later that evening. They usually keep the UPS hub desk open until 8pm at night. Just call them after you see the delivery attempt and ask them to hold the package at the office for pickup. They'll take your info, call you back and tell you what time that night you can pick the package up. Best luck!!
Does that offer pop up on the site after it ships? I will probably go for it because I rent an apartment and use the back door of a house and 9 times out of 10 they only knock on the front door even though it says "BACK DOOR" on my shipping address. Sometimes I leave a note on the front door but even then it gets ignored. I'd rather just sign the release rather than risk missing it.
Told me the same thing. I am HIGHLY ticked off about that. When I ordered online it said pre-orders will be delivered on the 19th not "as early as the 19th" like it is now.
They are DAMN lucky they have the exclusive agreement with Apple otherwise I would have squashed the deal in a heartbeat.

Your funds were put on hold. Usually they hold for only a few days, then it's place back on your account.
It will be removed in the next day or so, or whenever they ship it to your house.

mine did the same thing... they will officially charge probably when you pick the item up?
why are you so mad?
1) you dont have to wait in line
2) you ARE getting the phone ON the actual release date
stop whining...and be happy that you didnt have to pull yourself off the couch to get your phone.
Mine too, this morning. What kind of information did you get from the tracking number? Mine says estimated Delivery is June 18th (to the store).
Under "Activity" it says: Shipment information sent to FedEx
