Yes,

I ordered one last night at 4:08 pst, and it says prepared for shipment, additionally it does say ships: delivers ON June 19th.

I'll be surprised if it shows, however there site still said yesterday (Apples) that if you ordered, it would indeed arrive on the 19th, w/free shipping.

We'll see.

Now, not to highjack but anyone know the answer to this.

How does AT&T know if i recieve and decide to return and stay on my Gen1 plan? The Apple order site never directs you to AT&T for signage of anything.

Anyone know how they re-up without your expressed consent?
Just wondering.
 
I suppose the AT&T shipments will hit stores around mid-afternoon tommorow judging by the type of shipping thats listed.

It means that you need to click on the UPS Tracking Number to see the real status. Depending on where you live, you should still receive it on Friday.

Is he positive you wont recieve that hold from Apple?
 
Interesting. My package was scheduled for a 6/18 delivery, but it looks like they've removed the delivery estimate entirely now.

Told me the same thing. I am HIGHLY ticked off about that. When I ordered online it said pre-orders will be delivered on the 19th not "as early as the 19th" like it is now.

They are DAMN lucky they have the exclusive agreement with Apple otherwise I would have squashed the deal in a heartbeat.

Same for me too. Called this morning the guy i talked to knew my name and knew it was an iphone before i said hi. He said it will be here by 10:30 tomorrow. I live in indianapolis.

Nice! I live outside of Indy. Placed my order on the 8th after the keynote...but still preparing for shipment. That would be good if it did come early for ya.

hope so, I ordered mine on the 8th and the apple store still says "ships on June 19th"

1)The reason why you get an email from apple that says delivers the 22nd is because these emails are automated messages that are made by computers not humans i highly doubt they computer was aware that apple promised our iphones for friday.
2)I'm pretty sure that you left your shipping standard and since it is a computer that does this is goes off of the order info standard shipping would take about 3 to 4 days to deliver but all of the iphones order from apple are being shipped next day are or 2 day shipping.

You'll get it friday and at least you now have a tracking number

btw quick question is there any manufacturing of things at apple's hq in cali? I highly doubt it since of it's high cost with the US labor laws but i was just wondering because on many occasions in the past i've had things like computers and ipods come both from china and from california
 
Thrilled that I checked the status of my 2nd order just now and saw this:

Seems like nearly everybody's are going UPS, or are those just orders placed through Apple itself? Mine was placed in-store at AT&T. The first order that I placed online with AT&T on the 12th (before I realized you couldn't have an online order shipped to a store) is still processing.

When did you order?

If you ordered before Monday, I would seriously complain as it was to be guaranteed for the 19th. If this is the case, that's entirely BS considering the circumstances. *shakes head*
 
So if AT&T starts delivering on Friday and promise overnight does that mean I am good for Saturday delivery or am I stuck waiting until Monday? :confused:

me too, I'm desperate for an estimate to come back. I was so excited to have it a day early... I can handle getting it on Friday, just don't mess with my heart like this!!! C'mon Apple! C'mon UPS!
