that's what is bugging me, I ordered the minute the apple store came back up after WWDC and I am still at "prepared for shipment" and "delivers June 22nd" doesn't make sense.
Ok, 32GB White, upgrading from 2G iPhone, in Florida, ordered on the 10th (aka last Wednesday). So what part of that would delay my shipment?
I have a few bottles I could share!

where are you located? i'm starting to think maybe all the ones that have been shipped are to people who aren't in a major metropolitan city areas and ones like me and others who are still "prepared for shipping" even though we ordered june 8th-ish are in major metropolitan cities where there are local places with the iphones already there..haha i don't know. i could be making this up..it's just a guess. but i mean, i dont' really have anything else to base it on since it seems like everyone is getting theirs shipped/has their iphones in the U.S. already.

Another Florida (South Florida) here who's iPhone hasn't shipped yet. Maybe Apple has a secret stash somewhere around Florida....
Nothing, I would think. I was in the same boat as you until this morning. I ordered a 32GB White iPhone on the 9th from apple.com and was Prepared for Shipping for a few days. I received the email this morning with the tracking number. Now I'm on the iParty iPhone Plane!!!!

i order mine sunday night well monday morning since it was after 12 for some reason apple was having a hard time getting me through to ordering before that time... I order a 16gb white on the 15th and mine says prepared for shipment as of last night around 7pm my time (central) i hope by around that time today it is shipping. I still believe a 19th delivery if it ships today tomorrow its a long shot over night from china straight to chicago i doubt it. I'll be calling apple around 8 if i dont get a tracking number tonight

i hope you're right..i know some people who ordered before me on june 8th, their iphones are already in the ups system and in the states..mine? still "prepared for shipping" with a delivery date of "by june 19th" haha
I ordered mine on the 8th a few hours after the keynote, and it still says prepared for shipment. I just called Apple and got pretty much the same response as above. Something along the lines of...we are trying our best to get all the orders out on time...had a higher demand than expected. But worst of all..."If you don't receive it by the 19th you should receive it fairly soon afterwards since it is already prepared for shipment." I'm taking this to mean many of us are not getting these on friday. Also, the Apple rep confirmed these are all coming from China...so today is probably the cut off for receiving the orders anyway.
This is BS, orders should have been filled on a first come basis.
