I spoke to an ATT rep who said that when I get the phone I should call them before I do anything and give them the IMEI number off of the new iPhone and then they will set that up on the line that you are actually going to use. Then you can go ahead and activate through iTunes on the right number.

Just received the "shipped" email from Apple this morning, says my 32GB S was shipped out today - with an estimated delivery for June 22nd.

The UPS page says a scheduled delivery for 6/17 - but also has this next to the origin scan:

THE SERVICE SELECTED IS NOT AVAILABLE TO THE DESTINATION ADDRESS / DOWNGRADED, FORWARDED TO CONSIGNEE, SELECTED SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE

hahahah...i'm pretty sure everyone who has posted in this thread are complete tools. myself happily included :D

The deal is, it seems, if it has been shipped from Apple via UPS using the "express" option it should arrive on 6/19 no later than 12 noon local time regardless of what your tracking page/Apple's shipment notification email says.

5,000 or 6,000. I say somewhere over 6,000.
 
Geez Apple.

Mine still hasn't shipped apparently. Now I'm worried with a bunch of people (including my friend) getting notices that their orders were cancelled I'm wondering if they're just waiting to do that to me :eek:
 
Wouldn't it be terribly funny if some UPS guy took ALL the iPhones Prepared for Shipping and literally put them on a boat and 'Shipped' them somewhere far away where no one could reach them.

If that happens Friday, then all of you owe me a Mighty Mouse.

Yep, I'd say around 6,000 posts... I've been following since around page 10? Most of them anyway. Skipped 10 here or there. ;-)

Can't wait to see the Shipped come on the apple status page!
Thinking probably tomorrow?

I will probably sleep in and then go straight to studying for my stupid midterms. Never take summer classes, they drain your summer. Then after I finish my midterm I will finally be able to check out my iPhone! WOOOO!
