So Let me get this straight, my phone won't be at my local hub until early Friday? If the plane left Shenzhen at 12:50 AM on the 18th, that was 12:50pm EST today, which has already happened, um, about 10 hours ago. Why has it not updated since then?

I'm not gonna look again until tomorrow. Guarantee tomorrow it will already be in alaska and on its way to the main hub. Remember its already 10:34 in the morning tomorrow in china. But when they go to alaska it will still be Wednesday or early thursday morning. I will be here by friday.

EDIT: also ordered mine on the 113th

That's what I am saying. The last update on our UPS was really from almost 11 hours ago. That thing should have landed and left HK already.

I like many have been following this thread, so I apologize if this has been brought up in the past 100+pages...

UPS wrote the book on logistics, and shipping. In fact I worked for a food distributer back in the early 90's who used their software (at the tune of 100k+) for shipping/routing.

I find it amusing that many are complaining about something that has not actually arrived, based on a system they know nothing about.

UPS, I do believe knows exactly what they are doing; additionally I find it hard to believe we can re-write their thinking/tracking/routing reasoning because we want to learn their many years of perfection in 3 days.

Point is, I believe (even though my phone says prepared for shipment) will indeed arrive on Friday, and on time.

How they do it, no idea- but it is why they do what they do, and charge what they charge.

So tracking, guessing, questioning, bitching is all good and fun...but I would put money on UPS for taking care of business on Friday.

Yes, I tried to say this like 1,500 posts ago yesterday when someone said they could not hold shipments and it would be a logistics nightmare and there is so many packages blah blah. This is just another day for them, they move over 10 million packages every 24 hours, a few iPhone's are nothing.

Spoke to a friend who is a supervisor at UPS. He said more than likely the package will be sent by plane from louisiana to jersey (at least in my case)

so what are you guys doing while also posting on this thread? im watching tv and downloading apps for my new phone :D

According to FlightStats, there is a UPS flight from Louisville to 88 (!!) other cities that all take off between 2:37 and 6:11 am.

Could you post a little more info on that?

I know the exact UPS depot location in New Orleans, although I am not sure if they are shipping there, or Baton Rouge or somewhere else.

Too bad we can't send some gumbo with that iPhone to you, lol.
