I contacted UPS 2 days ago.
They had told me that APPLE delayed delivery 2 days ago.
But they said it would be delivered today before noon.
Noon has come and gone.
I called them back.
They stated "Apple called yesterday and requested that we hold all packages for a FRIDAY delivery, even though we had scheduled to deliver it 1 day early on the 18th. It will be delivered tomorrow before 12pm"

It's going out tonight. It's a lock.
Actually, that's how it started, so it's gone full circle.
Yeah, I'm with you. We'll see, though. Either it comes tomorrow morning or Apple has some very upset pre-order customers on their hands.
Is yours still showing in Hong Kong? Mine originally showed the 19th for delivery but after one of the scans it disappeared. I guess miracles can happen but I will be very surprised if it shows up tomorrow.
Did you request "overnight" on your order?
Yes me. My ups notice online said delivery on the 18th but then was changed to "exception" - hate that word now - saying it was being held in KY. I would love it if I got it by 10:30 tomorrow as otherwise I have to make a lot of changes to my schedule.
Bought on the 10th, Apple online. Did not make any "overnight" requests.
I am in LA, CA. (Pasadena).
Actually, it went from "It's not going to be here on time" to "Will I get my iPhone EARLY" and then back to a "OMFG! It's not going to be here on launch day."
Just a thought.

As long as it arrives tomorrow sometime, I'm fine with that.

(i have to wear my shades now so no one recognizes me)i sooooooooo want to leave work once the phones come tomorrow..... i think i would have been better off having them shipped home and just calling in sick (not that i would ever do that!)
My iPhone has left Ontario. Should be arriving at the Gardena UPS warehouse fairly soon. Looks as if a 3:00 P.M.ish delivery at the AT&T store. So, for people going to AT&T stores to pick up their preorders, what time are you getting there? I was thinking 6:15 A.M.ish.
We have crazy rain and high possibly of thunder & flooding in NYC today! If the plane had just left last night, I wouldn't be so worried about weather delays.

Wow, those of us who ordered from AT&T really got screwed. I ported from Tmo so I think I had to order from them. I had no idea their CS was really this sh*tty.
Just talked to yet another dipsh*t and he said AT&T doesnt even have them to ship out yet. Which I know for fact is a huge lie. How in the hell can they NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE PHONES!!!

Phone was delivered to ATT this morning at 9:45AM.
Mine was delivered at 10:03. Just called and tried to bribe the guy at the store to see if I could pick it up today instead of tomorrow, but he said no.
7AM tomorrow can't come soon enough!!!
