Personal call

My AT&T rep called me to say that my phone was in store and that I could pick it up at 7am tomorrow morning.

Before I could ask, he said he was sorry that he couldn't let me have it today... oh well :(

Anyones stuck in CHEK LAP KOK, CN? Mine still says it hasnt left china yet...


Either they arent scanning, or im screwed. I doubt it can go from china to alaska to louisville to PA in less then 20 or so hours!

No call, but got the email saying I could pick it up as early as 7am tomorrow. Just give them too us! :mad::rolleyes:
 
Mine has already been delivered to my local AT&T store. Naturally, I called to see if they'd let me pick it up. They confirmed that the shipment is in, but said their inventory manager is busy sorting them, and I'd have to wait until 7am for pickup. Still, it was worth a shot.

i think they arent scanning, or they are not updating the ups tracker

my phone needs to be on it too. Mine still says Hong Kong also. Other good news after this plane lands it takes of 2 hours later to fly to Louisville which is UPS main HUB for shipping/sorting.


EDIT: it doesnt have to go from China to Alaska anymore. The plane we are all hoping for lands in alaska in 30 minutes then leaves for Louisville 2 hours later. Takes 5 hours from Alaska to Louisville.

I bet there not scanning. Theres no way we can get it tomorrow if it hasnt left china yet. I was reading about world ease shipping; the one apple is using to ship our phones...It is pretty much tons of huge palates of hundreds of phones on each. That way they all clear customs together. So, theres a chance our phones are on the same pallate, which is why we all have the same shipping schedule...


normally whenever i get a tracking number i check it a couple times a day...For the 3G S its like that times 10 haha...

i know right, im constantly refreshing the page to see if it updated at all

Keep the faith -- 4:30 here and I JUST got my tracking number! Not even in the system yet, so who knows if it'll be here tomorrow, but at least there's a chance!
 
Looked like we killed FedEX live chat.

I went to ask them how long it should be in fort Worth (its been there for 5-6 hours).... and if it will be transported/delivered on business days... or just sit in a factory.
 
Mine hasn't updated since it's arrival scan in Alaska yesterday afternoon... I don't doubt that it'll make it, but the other ones seemed to move more quickly than this.

Might want to re-think that time of yours. I was at the store at midnight last year for the 3G launch, and was still 12th in line. However they didn't allow pre-orders, so I'm sure this year will not be as bad - however, an hour early hardly seems it will be enough ;)
 
Phew...just when I was going to get on with an agent at Apple, my order shipped!
