I ordered off of Apple (Apple Online Store). It is being shipped by UPS. And that's a fact. (Not a "fact.")

I also ordered through Apple Online Store on June 8th and is being shipped UPS. What I don't get is how people that ordered at a later date are going to end up getting their Iphones on time while mine is chilling up in Alaska?

See guys, the people before complaining about their phones being held and not being delivered EARLY are stupid because apple didn't have to deliver anything before friday.

But the shipments were GUARANTEED for friday. I don't care how insignificant the extra few days is for some people, if you buy something with a guarantee of coming a certain day, it better come that certain day or the company has failed.

According to my tracking, my iPhone has not even DEPARTED from Hong Kong - I ordered on the 13th... there's something wrong with this situation.

AGREED! thats why i am on the phone with apple...they are trying to get my shipment canceled, and moved to an in store pick up.

i dont mind waiting the extra few days, but they were promised on friday, and UPS has said 100% it will not be here on friday

my ups guy reassured me it would be here tomorrow and not to follow the tracking page as it cannot always be updated to the latest location. so just be patient and don't jinx anyone ;)

Did anyone who preordered early from AT&T that DID NOT have the option to choose a shipping method, but instead got the promised PRIORITY OVERNIGHT shipping email from AT&T get a tracking number yet?

Because alot of the people on the AT&T forums who did are only 2nd day air instead of the promised priority overnight shipping with a scheduled delivery of monday....:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Called UPS about 20minutes ago regarding my phone still listing as in Alaska, since 1:50pm yesterday.

The rep gave me the canned response that all the phones had been put on hold and should arrive tomorrow. He asked that I check the tracking status later tonight for an update. But the bad news is that he then added I should check the status in the morning and if there's still no movement to call them again.

Guaranteed by tomorrow???

Let's think about this for a sec, Ted, why would somebody put a guarantee on an iPhone shipment? Hmmm, very interesting.

Go on, I'm listening.

Here's the way I see it, Ted. Guy puts a fancy guarantee on an iPhone shipment 'cause he wants you to fell all warm and toasty inside.

Yeah, makes a man feel good.

'Course it does. Why shouldn't it? Ya figure you put that little box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter, am I right, Ted?

What's your point?

The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy; well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser, and your daughter's knocked up. I seen it a hundred times.

I love that movie and you made my night, thank you

I just had to purchase "Ghostbusters The Video Game" for the PC just to tide me over. Tell me about your fix.

no tracking info

Att just updated to "shipped", I think cuz I called but there is no tracking number. They didn't have one for me. Imagine that...

So I finally shipped! No tracking number yet but I am going through Fedex. Talk about waiting until the last minute! :)

Kentucky update

For those of you who are stuck in Louisville like me, don't worry.

I just called UPS and the lady said that all the packages arrived in Louisville yesterday and are manually being held in request of Apple. Most of them aren't in Louisville anymore and have actually begun travelling to the regional sites such as Newark, Memphis, etc.. The tracking won't update until tomorrow but the phones WILL get to you if they were in Louisville this morning or earlier.

She also said that based on which Express configuration was used, we could either see them before 10:30 AM/12 noon (depending on where you live) or you might have to wait until the end of the day. Express Saver packages will most likely deliver in the afternoon but I'm pretty sure we're all on Express and should get the phones before noon tomorrow. She said that drivers try not to go to residential areas before 9 AM but if you are having your phone shipped to your home, be on the safe side and be up by 8. She said that most everyone should have their phones between 8 and 10:30 AM.

It's frustrating that they aren't updating the UPS tracking pages but it will show movement maybe even later tonight around midnight. Most likely tomorrow though.

I'm lovin' it

Ahhh, iPhone eve. The rest of the country has to wait until July 4th for their next holiday. Not us though! We have iPhone Christmas tomorrow & I can't wait. :apple:

I'd like to remind everyone to please read the entire thread before posting. I've seen some things mentioned twice. Once on page 4, and again on page eleventy-three.
