Sorry if this has been posted or w/e, but this thread moves too quickly to stay updated. But has anyone who ordered in the AT&T store gotten their tracking info to work? Or have you figured out why the Freight or iPhone fell off of the order status? The phones are probably coming from the same place as the ones that were ordered in the Apple stores, so they should be in Alaska or w/e right now and about to be distributed to the AT&T distribution places, and then to our stores...? Anyone wanna enlighten me and get me back up-to-date? :)

Same thing for me. I thought I was special all day. Why has it just disappeared though? seems odd, didn't change, just went away.

Not surprising... it was incorrect. The date should have been Friday the 19th.

This makes sense. Also could explain why some that ordered early haven't seen theirs shipped yet. There is another shipment coming, or they are already in the US.
 
OK, from what I am gathering, ATT orders placed early, and to be delivered to home, are probably already in country, and will leave Wed or Thrs, or are being shipped from China to ATT, to then be distributed. Looks like Apple orders are coming straight from China with individual tracking already affixed to each box. So maybe my frustration of having my status not change is unwarranted!

Last time I checked apple isn't the delivery company.

I want my phone just as bad as the next person but this thread is getting borderline crazy. Somewhat amusing though.

Have to laugh at it... we are all part of it. Can you imagine tomorrow when the "I got mine.... " entries start....:D:D:D
 
How does one determine all that extra information from the tracking number? I've always wondered.

Not to rain on everyone's parade, but I do a lot of shipping and get a lot of things shipped to me as well. I have had many times where I have had a tracking number from UPS say "On scheduled delivery for x/x/x" and then that date comes and nothing gets delivered. Then usually later that night if I check, the date gots changed to something else.

So anyways, I am just saying that just because it says it is on time for a delivery, does not guarantee you will get the delivery that day.

As multiple people have pointed out, UPS has held deliveries before for other products. Books, video-games and movies come to mind. I mean, don't get me wrong, I really hope that they do not do this. Just saying it is possible. Here's hoping though. I would love to start hearing some hands on details from all you guys while I wait for mine on Friday (I hope). :D
 
delivery date gone

most likely clearing customs. When I have shipped to canada for my company I see this happen for a day or two since we dont use world ease like apple and at&t do.

AFAIR the next step is customs clearance, which usually happens in 12 hrs for Apple product...then the packages will be updated again with delivery information

Ya, why do people think Apple has so much power? They can't call up UPS and reroute planes, fabricate delays, and can't retroactively do anything after UPS sends it off without paying probably millions at this point.

And if you say that wasn't what you were saying...I don't care. I just want an iPhone.

Ok if there is a hold on the package there is absolutely no reason for that hold not to show up on the computer.
 
Mine is also in Alaska, and also no longer showing a delivery date. I called UPS and they say estimated delivery is 6/19 by 10:30 am.

Once it gets closer, I am gonna try to get UPS to let me pick it up from a warehouse.
