But it's not faster or more convenient to get your phone out while you're driving! These things are not just a privacy nightmare but will be impossible to police whilst driving. In the end you’re paying for a device that is more expensive and less convenient than an Apple Watch. Sure the HUD is neat but it’s still faster and more convenient to just get your phone out.
Based on his demo, its ability to even receive WiFi is questionable. Can it receive cellular signals, or just WiFi?
Did you even watch the launch?? It doesn't work! They beat no one, as the product is at best looking like a Beta in testing.go figure they beat Timmy boy to marketapple will make these in 6 or 7 years....
Really? I can't believe anybody would buy these after seeing the live demo.I think these are cool and would get these,
Not wrong. Vision Pro is a complete failure. And this is why Tim Cook has to go
Unfortunately depending where one lives that is already a reality.Glassholes are back! All hail the surveilance state!
Apple wasn’t Swatch or Rolex and figured out how to build a watch. They can figure out how to manufacture a version of these when/if the want to.Not wrong. Vision Pro is a complete failure.
And by the way, RayBan is Luxottica. Good luck Apple finding a manufacturer to build Apple smart glasses.
YOU'VE ALREADY DONE IT NOW GRATE A PEAR!!!"What do I do first?"
"What do I do first?"
"What do I do first?"
As a cyclist i can say, that cockpit-mounted cycling computer is more than enough. It's not a snowboard, it does not move.cyclists/snowboarders/athletes will lose their minds
There is a company producing a bracelet for AW doing something similar, though it’s pretty expensive…One more thing: couldn't Apple in some way replicate the utility of that wrist band with their Apple Watch and perhaps a special band?
So with your phone you can take a video of what you are looking at with your ride stats overlaid on top ?? If you are grinding away leaning over the "cockpit" straining/standing on the pedals you can comfortably view your power output & heart rate ?? As another cyclist I will be moving away from the phone, likely with the next gen Meta Oakleys (assumes they add the display and some other connections). BTW: Meta needs to buy Garmin. As a cyclist i can say, that cockpit-mounted cycling computer is more than enough. It's not a snowboard, it does not move.
lol you clearly need to watch the keynote and demo
I’m curious, do people actually notice or get notified when those smart glasses are snapping a photo? The whole concept of a camera staring me down 24/7 without warning gives me serious privacy chills. Feels like we’re one step away from a Black Mirror episode where everyone’s a secret shutterbug.
