He literally fired most the staff that works to prevent kiddy stuff and the "actions" he took were programs already in the works and scheduled to be deployed. He look 0 action at all other than "didnt stop already planned actions"

But the fact you actually think it was "unchecked" proves how much you rely on right wing media and not actual facts. I don't know ANY person that ever saw kiddy stuff on twitter and I work in social media marketing. You had to explicitly look for it or be in the circle/connection of a lot of other kiddy pervs for the algorithm to think you wanted to see it. It didnt "just magically show up" on your feed. Anyone who swears it "just somehow showed up" I literally Do. Not. Believe.
I’m talking about trans propaganda and giving children hormone blockers ect. That crap was absolutely unchecked before he took over.

I don’t get it. When I launched it initially, I saw the people I follow and their threads in my feed. Now it suddenly turned into an endless feed of threads by users I don’t even know?!?

Quoting the linked independent.ie article “In its US format, the platform tells users that it will collect a wide variety of data from users, including health, financial information, browsing histories, location, purchases, contacts, search history and sensitive information.” this is a complete privacy nightmare. It’s beyond me how Americans can accept this insane level of privacy invasion. I thought I’d never say it but I’m happy to be an EU citizen.

Pretty much the exact same App Privacy as Twittter, and TikTok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And those are also privacy nightmares.
What I find telling is that they don't even bother entering the EU market,
because they would not be able to meet even the most basic privacy standards.

I take it you don't even understand the EU standards.

EU specifically has an issue with Threads user advertising data being intermingled with Instagram.

It's not some "basic privacy standard" that exists anywhere else in the world.

I applaud them for it and I am sure Meta will comply but in order to launch quickly it's easier just to build Threads effectively as an add-on for Instagram.
