It's now on my phone too. Gigantic ad slowly scrolls up and blocks what I am reading. Makes me want to click to another site entirely, so it's a hazard for MR if even a percentage of visitors feel the same way.

Does MetroPCS honestly believe that having annoying ads, that block entire websites, going to get customers? You'd have to be a complete moron to sign off on advertising like this.

It's still here. I was browsing last night and this morning and I just can't deal with this stupid ad anymore. It loads on every page when browsing the forum. Very annoying.

Yes, using Safari on iPhone 6P and these adds in macrumors are extremely annoying. They are so annoying that I will go out of my way to not use any product so advertised.

Advertising in general is getting way out of hand. Watching a show on mobile divice is becoming so much less enjoyable with the commercial breaks repeating same ads over and over.

I'm getting it too since last night and agree, it's terrible. It's a hair less annoying than those ads that start auto videos with 150% sound volume, but I'm talking a hair less.

Still here..,

Really really annoying and a turn off. Every damn page load.

Yes, very annoying. Been having ads like that come up on the Mac rumors site for a while.

Sometimes I scroll and suddenly find myself in the App Store with a program wanting to be downloaded. Today I scrolled and ended up in the itunes app trying to buy an album. I don't know how I got there. It's very annoying.

Funny many Apple fans claim iphones are impervious to these kinds of redirections, yet Mac rumors throws me to other stores, sites, and annoying scroll ads all the time.

Exactly! And it's happening all the time! The iPhone has become the number one target for SPAM and POP UPS on these Apple devices!

And I told people I said, Apple said they would do something to STOP these POP UPs on iOS.

And some smartass from here was like, "you can't stop it because it's a user interaction"

I was like that's bull

And it's still here. I have to say, I get ads keep the site running, but this one has made me consider not coming around anymore. The rest are fine.

Except that these aren't pop-ups.

Ad really hurts on clicking and posting on this site. I refuse to use ABP because if you google if it slows down, it really does and eats up RAM in the process. It may block the ad sometimes but your phone will slow down eventually.

I just started seeing it a few days ago, and its just the most annoying as I've ever seen. I'm glad the admins are on it! Thanks guys.
