Aiden Shaw Has No Honor

You, Aiden Shaw, have stooped to new lows in your campaign of deceptive tactics and hypocrisy, by deliberately breaking the links of the three quotes I had originally posted.

I said:

Your deliberate and underhanded modification:

First, you deliberately delete the prefix and suffixes within your quote.

You then go on to deceptively redirect attention from the original source links, in a lame attempt to distract from the original, documented testimonials.

After doing so, you hypocritically whine about the inclusion of the first of three original links, to your intentional deviation.

You're deceitful behavior and subsequent finger pointing has plunged to new depths of duplicity.

Keep calling the kettle black, as the kettle utterly 'pales' by comparison.

Is that the best retort that you can come up with?

I "exposed" the links - I did not try to mislead by modifying the targets. Add the "http://" and you have exactly your post. You linked to a luny-site, and I showed the naked URLs in a way that the board software wouldn't modify them. And, since I back-linked the post to your original - readers were one click away from your luny-post. No deception, unlike your modification of my quote.,

DMann, you have no honor.

Is that the best attempt you can make at justifying your underhandedly deliberate and deceitful alteration of my post? :p

How peculiar?

Why the extra effort of editing; cutting, pasting, and rearranging, to deceptively deactivate the original links of the post in the first place?

Why not simply press the ‘Quote’ button and continue, unless, quite apparently, you had deliberate intentions of making them inactive?

And, since I back-linked the post to your original - readers were one click away from your luny-post

Then, by your logic, the link I included in your deceptive quote links to the very same site you intended it to. ;)

Speaking of the act of deceitful editing of quotes, let’s take a look at one, of many, emanating from you:

This seems, by far, a tad bit more extreme, especially in lieu of your finger-pointing double-standards.

What has become very clear, however, is that you, AdenShaw, have no shame.

DMann, you have no honor.

Speak for yourself, you have quite a deficiency in this department.

It does what Apple doesn't? Why am I going to buy something that doesn't do what I want?

I can get Touch Windows Media Center and get TV over the network. If I get bored I can stream recorded shows and movies or use Homegroups. Failing that there's always the internet.

Slingbox doesn't do what I want and EyeTV is too expensive. Though I could just get another Windows 7 license and use my Macbook.

slingbox? i was THIS close in buying one of them. still no news as to whether it got a proper release in australia, but my play tv and the psp does the job reasonably well considering...

Post-by-post, you become more desperate and ludicrous.

Do you really think that anyone reading my post would really believe that you made a post consisting of only the three words "Blah. Blah. Blah."? Do you *really* think that?

I think that they'd assume (correctly) that Aiden thinks that DMann's post has no useful, quotable content - it's just more "blah blah blah".

No deceit.

Your false indignation would be appropriate if I'd changed your quote to "Originally posted by DMann: 'I spend all my time looking at the pictures on guyswithiphones.com'". To twist it around that "Blah blah blah" is some horrible deceitful act is ludicrous.

I'm done here - have the last post like you always must, but I'm done.

Dude, don't stop now! You're like this |<-->| close to getting DMann to switch to a Dell with Windows 7, and possibly even a Windows Mobile device! (Do they still sell those?)

Remember your quota, man, your quota!!!

LOL.

But DMann always has the last word - if you don't decide to bow out, pretty soon
the boards will show ****** instead of the post count. And, after the first few
dozen posts, it's circular and repetitious. I don't have time for that - I have
astroturf to fertilize and water. ;)

This is how you attempt to justify your low-life, condescending, BS?

By your own decrepit set of double standards, DMann thinks that AidenShaw's character has been succinctly summarized by the very title of the aforementioned "link:" :p
Boy, did you link to a loony-site!

Microsoft Shill (amended appropriately)

You're so done, and quite right you are :p - since you are of the warped and delusional misconception that the preposterous dreck, which you unwarrantedly dish onto others, somehow doesn't apply to you.

"blah blah blah" - naw, not too infantile.

Not even a shill of his rep and lack of standards could sway me into that direction - on second thought, that sig link really had me goin' there for a while. :)

I don't have time for that - I have
astroturf to fertilize and water. ;)

We all wholeheartedly agree, this is all that you have time for. :p

Priceless.

As an independent guy who didn't read any of the posts I thought by your quote , DMann really just said "blah blah blah".

If a person quotes another person they should quote that person. That's the very definition of quote. Anything else is not a quote.

That's basic english.

In context (below), it would be very hard to miss my comment that DMann's post was "Blah. Blah. Blah." rather than a full quote. Would a "there, I fixed it for you" tag help?

Also, note DMann's incredible hypocrisy here - since he himself modified the middle quote from me.

Buddy, the only thing that you are clarifying is the fact that you are a Windows user and fan. Anything else that you may say is so much "Blah, blah, blah."

Um, guys, could we not get back to laughing at Ballmer?

+1. I think Balmer should make a guest appearance in the next "I'm a Mac" ad. Maybe have him show off how it takes 30 seconds to get a movie to play on the HP "slate" and then Justin Long asks him why he's sweating so much.

Thank you - very much agreed.

He seems to remain oblivious as to how wrong this is.

More disturbing, is his ongoing pretense that it's perfectly acceptable.

Not to mention, his condescending nature and extreme lack of respect toward others.

You seem to have hit the nail right on the head. :)

You want some Ballmer giggles? Check this guy out.

He's been teasing Ballmer and the rest of the tech world for a while. I think he's quite good. And he's been saying "Bing bing bing!" with his Ballmer puppet for ages. I can't believe the real life Ballmer actually said it during CES. Gold. :D

I already have a Windows 7 Tablet its a ..............................[deleted for clarity].................................
BTW: We all know Balmer is a goof but so is Jobs.

OMG YOU think!

If you honestly believe that Steve Jobs is a goof you're as desperately 'hamstrung', opinion wise, as your mate Aiden

No spoof can equal the (unintentional) hilarity of the man himself.

Internet Explorer??? You're a professed techie and you use Internet Explorer???

Does Microsoft allow you to use anything that isn't from Microsoft?

Oh, wait. Duh. Silly question.

And is that Comic Sans I see as your browser font? LOL!

Consider all credibility lost. As if you ever had any.

And you refuse to acknowledge that you had edited my quote in the very post that you complain that I edited. It must not be that "wrong" if you do it as well.

Sheer hypocrisy.

You speaking about credibility after throwing ad hominems leaves a terrible taste in my logic interpreter.

Not sure if you are joking. Probably not. I do have to interject though. Have you noticed how a lot of threads end up in the same guys having the same endless arguments?

Huge difference here.

Annotating your post, non-destructively, with two parenthetical, bolded inscriptions, leaving your original wording (spelling errors, grammatical errors) in tact:

hardly equates to your complete destruction and pejorative replacement of mine:

Yeah, look who's talking. :p

IE Comic Platinum.

I'm done here - have the last post like you always must, but I'm done.
(posted 1/9/2010)

Three posts later - yet another attestation to his utter lack of credibility.

Loren Feldman has really got Ballmer down - from "Developers" to "Bing" - almost as awkward as Ballmer himself. :)
