How do you know they’re excellent when nobody has been able to use them? Or are you just referring to the existing laptops?Excellent new devices that should keep Apple in competition. Kinda like that mini tablet thing.

Never mind all this innovation. I'm sure Tim Cook has some new Apple Watch bands to release any time soon. The fightback is on!
The Surface lineup is looking really sharp. Surface Pro X looks really nice.

Watched the live stream. It actually works? Have you used one? Has anyone reviewed one yet? Microsoft said it’s not shipping until holiday season 2020.
They're soliciting developers. The products need apps that support the form factor.Seems awful early to announce the Neo and duo. Still a year away from market.
Godlike innovation. This, Apple. This. This is what innovation looks like. Not that APFS crap. Not that triple camera crap. Not that FaceID crap. Not that A13 Bionic crap. Not that Swift crap.
Until they‘ve fixed the touch screen sensitivity issues, the lag, the slow scrolling (it‘s 2019 for crying out loud), the fact that none of the Microsoft software products are properly touch enabled, the constant hick-ups, restarts, crashes, account issues with Office 365 apps etc. etc. just make using Microsoft products a chore.
Demos are obviously tightly controlled. I’ll reserve judgment until reviews come out. That’s assuming they actually ship.Watched the live stream.
They demoed several of them onstage.
Looked pretty damn good to me.

Yes... they do. They are full blown computers. Intel Core CPUs, SSD storage, fast ram.Do Surface Pro's run the full version of Office 365? My kid's biggest complaint is her iPad Pro running Office 365 doesn't match the desktop version she uses at school. For this reason I'd buy a Surface Pro.
Not if you're trying to generate developer & consumer excitementSeems awful early to announce the Neo and duo. Still a year away from market.

It may be time for Apple to start looking at what their next iteration of the MacBook Air 13" will be (10th Gen U or 10th Gen Y) and if it's past time for them to offer a MacBook Air with a 15" screen. With the 16" MacBook Pro seemingly around the corner, along with demand for a 15" MBA, I think it is...just my 2¢.
Also, I think the time is ripe for dual-core CPUs to pass out of Apple's computer lineup.
There will be a lot of haters here naturally, but for years now Microsoft/Google/Huawei events have been far more exciting than Apple events.

I cannot wait to get these and be more productive. Watching two YouTubes videos at the same time. Watching Netflix AND working on a document. This is magic.
