Deleting the Windows Media Player
I had problems trashing the Windows Media Player as well.
Downloaded Batchmod and zapped that blasted WMP off my Powerbook!
The typical Batchmod use goes like this: Download it. Open it. Set the permissions for you (the owner) as you wish. Then, anything you drag on top of the open Batchmod window will reset its permissions as you've set them up. AND... it can even make things inside those folders assume the same.
And...if all else fails, use Batchmod to trash a stubborn file, regardless of screwy permissions. Drag a file (or folder) onto the open batchmod window and then go up to the menu and select Batchmod > Force Empty Trash. This is the same as going into the terminal and destroying the file regardless of any issues. It's powerful.
Here's the link to batchmod. It's 4.5 stars and FREE. It's a must-have.

So far everything works well with Flip4Mac.
